At our store at least, we usually have our weekend classes before the store opens, so it's not total chaos when you're trying to talk to people.

Your brushes should work, but I'm not 100%. Just try it. Can't hurt anything.

And the file structure is really easy. Basically each user has their own home directory.

Users/derek
Users/Chris
Users/Dan

Etc. Each of those home folders has a Library folder, music, movies, sites, documents, etc. Just store stuff in your home directory and you're good to go.

Deker, thanks for the heads up on the way directories are set up. Hopefully I can get all that information down. I looked at the list of classes here and they mostly start at opening time, or around noon. Saturday would probably be the best bet for me, but I'd rather go on Monday or any other day during the week, but I guess they mostly have the classes during the weekend.

Anyway, I'll check it out and see what's up, but how do you change the information on the directory? For instance when I first turned on the machine, it took me to set up an account and I need to change my address and my number on there. But I don't know how to go back to change that. Any info on that?

Thanks again for your time man...take care.

Cheers!

Our store changes the schedules every month, so maybe next month there will be a more convenient time for you.

Too be honest, I feel a little sad tonight. I miss my iBook. I loved that computer. It's like moving into a new house feeling. I had sentimental attachment to the thing. I feel guilty about this new one, but I know tomorrow I'll be pretty amped. CS is amazing on it.

Spectra, congrats on your purchase. Deker, thanks for the info man, I'm sure I'll find a convenient time. I don't think the mac is that hard to use, but maybe us new jacks make it seem harder than what it really is.

Fig, I found this site: http://e-mobileworld.net/ApplePowerBookG4.htm
The Powerbook is at 1250.00, I couldn't believe it. The company is in New Zealand, but that's a good price man.

Hey Spectra, what do you plan to do with your iBook? Are you going to sell it by any chance?

Cheers!

Some nice, free, orientation videos on OS X 10.4.

Macs rock.

msz070, thanks for hooking me up with those videos, I've bookmarked them and I'll check them out later tonight...really late tonight when I have time to myself.

Spectra, I'm sure your pops will benefit from the iBook, I was just wondering what you were going to do as I was thinking of getting something like that to use just for writing and text files, as opposed to graphics. But that's cool...you're dad'll enjoy it for sure.

Cheers!
