what do you mean by that? Just because we, the so called "invisible countries", haven't got the "most powerfull man in the world", we're all suddenly invisible?

Where do you get this from? Do you feel like youre "above" us non-americans?
Above you? No, not as a people. Our nation certainly is, even you would admit to that (number one economy in the world, etc). The reason i chose the word "invisible" is because:

1) The countries i was referring to are non-internetionists who choose not to involve themselves with the rest of the world unless it benefits only them.
2) They are simply lesser-known. Proof of this would be that i had to look up the President of Finland's name, whereas it is common knowledge in almost ever nation in the world who the President of the US is, or the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

I don't even want to discuss a matter with you when you start like that .. You wouldn't be able to see it anyway, it's invisible, remember?..

See what? The "matter" that's being discussed? No one said that was invisible.

No, lets stop wasting time, frivolously bickering about why i chose to use a certain word, and get to the question at hand - why do foreigners whose nation has no interaction with the US dislike our president? I think it's rather silly to make post after post about some world leader who has never done a thing to you.

In a nut shell, what America does very well affects the rest of the world.

THIS is your answer? I asked you why foreigners from invisible countries dislike the US, what kind of answer is that?

Nos.

What exactly is the point in copy pasting all of these numbers? What are you trying to show? Are you anti-Bush? If so, why?

I'd be interested to know why someone from Finland would dislike Bush.

What the point is? What can the point be? Read the numbers?
(yes they're biased, but what the hell can one do to compete with the "free" american media?)
I'm very anti bush, isn't that pretty obvious? Again, look at the numbers. I mean, even if it's just a lame list of leftist treehugger selected numbers, they're still there. If you have a nice pro-bush list in the same theme, please feel free to post it.

What's the difference where I'm from? We have electricity here too, we have TV, internet, radio and all that new jazz.

EDIT: Sorry, i thought you were a Canadian for some reason.

Yup, foreigner, it's all the same.

Quite a few: Number of anti-Bush/America posts Paavo has made since Bush was elected.

Not many: Number of people on this forum that are even old enough to vote and live in America.

Even fewer: Number of people that are old enough to vote, live in America, are registered to vote, visit this forum, and will actually have their opinion influenced at all by a post from a foreignor in a messageboard about Photoshop.

"anything goes" is the explanation for this section, and Pank, if you have something to say, I'm sure you can say it yourself, without having to edit Derek's post.

I have heard his speeches, yes. Not sure what you're getting at, what do you mean "tiny bit of credibility"?

I think he meant that he's been lying for so long, that you, the American public should be noticing something's not quite right about what he says versus what he actually carries out.

I live in America will be able to vote for the upcoming election, and will indeed register and cast my vote - most likely for President Bush.

That's your choice, I'm very interested in why you're going to vote for George W Bush though.

I don't see why so many foreigners, especially foreigners from invisible countries such as Finland, dislike the President. It's not like you ever see Americans making posts about your President Tarja Halonen.

The thing is, our president will probably not have much of an impact on your every day lives in the US. Your leader has a huge impact on everyone living on this planet of ours. Also, I think it's kindof sad that people in invisible countries probably knows better about the things that go on in your administration. And "knows" isn't only about probably being better informed, but also actually more interested. We here have too much free time...living in our igloos and talking to polar bears makes us bored. So we start thinking about the one thing that is important for everyone, something that's common sense to be interested in, politics! If only we had basketball tournaments and other sport events to occupy our time, we wouldn't have to think about this boring stuff.

Pav, you know me better than that I hope.
Please read it all. I had to edit somebody's post in this thread to show what a "real" edited post looked like. I did not "edit" one word of Dek's post. I just inserted a note that I edited the post and you can see the big difference of how a post looks when myself or a mod edits it and when somebody tries to "fake" edit a post. At least I think it was a "fake" edit attempt or some sort of point trying to be made.

Somebody just glancing over this thread may think we are censoring posts and we are not. That was my ONLY point for doing that.

Hope that clears that up now... ;)

Pank didn't edit my post except to show that Spectra's was a fake edit... I typed all of that in my post... and it was just a joke, i don't know the first thing about politics. Not even the difference between republicans and democrats, so take that! ;)

*pank beat me to it.*

ah yes, I see it now Pank. I was so angry, I was having an adrenalin meltdown. I think we all know what a "real" edit looks like though. :D
(yes, but some people aren't a forum nerd like you, paavo)
Oh yeah...
