Syber: what they're reporting to you is the 'bandwidth' you have, not the Kps (kilobytes per second) that you are downloading. Look on their report page, it will tell you how much data was downloaded over how many seconds--just do the math and you'll know download speed.

ok you divide the broadband text (1,000,000 bites) by the time it took to download...i came up with 66k...ok..well i have a dowload accelerator called flash get...http://www.amazesoft.com/ .. and i says in the bottom right hand corner the donload rate...it is about 450k (once again on a good day) it displays the mb downloaded...and its going up a mb every two seconds..now i would like to have some explaination ...
