Hmm and may I ask where did you go? Could you even get accepted there?? You wouldn’t have a chance. That’s TWO major *universities*. Oh and I have another?... have you ever drunk alcohol? If so then that is also a drug so there. Whether he's done cocaine and you've drunk, it's all the same... just ones illegal and one isn’t but they still affect you. How does that make him any less of a person then you he sure ass hell got a better job then you. About the mumbo jumbo you were talking after that quote I really don’t feel like commenting. |

I think if your dad was a former president of the united states of america, you'd probably had a pretty good chance of getting into a nice school...

Yah it’s so true. Shoot, any school who had an ex-presidents son attend their school could justify high tuition by any means. So many benefits from letting famous and influential people attend their school. They wouldn’t care if he got all D’s. So him going to Yale or whatever isn’t very impressive to me. |

He received a bachelor's degree from Yale University in *1968*, then served as an F-102 fighter pilot in the Texas Air National Guard. President Bush received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School in *1975*. His father wasnt prez untill 1989-1993 so he went there before. so his father had no effect on that |

I'm not wanting to throw gas on the fire, but surely GW Bush had long since graduated college when his father was President. And you FlackBait... OK, so if you can blame Bush for a bill that the House passed, then how can you not give credit to Bush for finding Saddam. If you cannot reason solidly, then keep your liberal comments to subjects that you can understand. |

Spare me, you dolt. You obviously have no knowledge of politics, and you're just repeating your favorite dinner-time cliche's mumbled by your lower class parents who think the world is against them. It's particularly amusing to see your disgusting use of the english language - "speaches"? No such word, ditz. Stop critisizing the Yale graduate's grammar and go back to middle school. Ah, and i'm sure you were saying the same about Saddam about a week ago...? Things come around, you know. We haven't even begun searching yet - the war ended in May and we're in the reconstruction phase right now. Spy lady? Very professional - i can really take you seriously after such a comment. What a joke... Nos. |

It's called a legacy preference, a long-standing policy used at many elite schools to allow the children of alumni to receive preferential treatment. According to a Wall Street Journal article, legacy preferences at Ivy League schools make up anywhere from 10% to 15% of the student population. It's also used at places like Notre Dame. One reason legacy preferences remain popular is because the practice pleases affluent alumni, who are more inclined to keep donating money when their kids keep getting admitted. Bush got into Yale because his daddy went to Yale, not because he deserved it. |
