Gosh ... I can't even read this thread. I tried, but ... there was just ... a lot of bitching and complaining. But here are my views, cause I'm not gonna sit here and reply to a bunch of arguing. Saddam got caught. Great. But if you ask me, our troops need to stay over there to find that punk Osama. Not only that, but it wouldn't hurt to help rebuild some of Afganastan, which we will most likely do whether anyone likes it or not. I could care less for Bush, but I'm glad he actually took Saddam by the nuts. He was a freakin idiot and deserves what he got and will get. And Osama deserves an even harsher "punishment" than Saddam. Democracy is great. I like it. I don't need to explain why, if you live in a democracy and like it, then you know why I like it. So what ... the Government takes some of my money ... I could care less. **** gets done with the taxes I pay and you can't say otherwise because ... well ... just look at what we have. It may not be perfect, and it never will be, but so what ... I'm happy fairly happy, so I'll keep payin taxes. We got mad oppertunities here, and anyone who disagrees is an idiot ... because really, it all depends on what you do with your life that will make oppertunities available. But my kids cryin, so I gotta put an end to my opinion ****. Besides, I dun wanna get outa control and burn myself out over a stupid argument over someones ignorance (an argument about opinions, nonetheless). Oh, and afguy ... you need to grow up and think about what your sayin man, cause you're makin yourself look really ignorant. Do you even live in America? Do you even pay attention in your Social Studies/History/Political classes? Do you even watch the news and really hear whats going on? I mean, man ... I read some of what you've said and man ... honestly ... I don't know what to say but grow up. |

Osama's not in Iraq though. Nobody ever said democracy's wrong, I don't think anyone here would disagree with it being the best way to do things. |

@Paavo: I don't think any president could have stopped 9/11. And most of the problems stemmed from the rivalries between the CIA and the FBI. @afguy91506: Quit being a little girl. You're in a debate. You don't state a point then run from counterpoints and make up excuses of why not to continue. You are being immature. EDIT: and edit your posts instead of filling this thread with trivial corrections. AND STOP DOUBLE POSTING. Bush is not the best man for the job. And this is not some partisan speaking. I would like McCain and I would NOT like Liberman to hold office. I consider the man, not the party they belong to. There are bad people in both parties. "If freedom means anything at all, it means the freedom to tell people what they do not want to hear." -George Orwell Don't be another mindless zombie. If you support Bush I would normally respect you as he has done good things (a long with bad, like anyone), but your points are totally irrational and you have even discredited your knowledge about politics. I have the feeling that you are in a conservative household and have never bothered to think for yourself. I'm not going to attack. I could just get pissed and write "f*ck" "p*ssy" and "sh*t" randomly in my posts and make a personal attack on you and Bush, but what I would rather do with your attention now is to implore you to beccome a freethinker. Freethinkers can still support Bush, but don't praise and revere him just because he is the president. That is not a valid reason for anyone. I may have written harsh things in the past but they were moments of insanity and I am normally a mellow guy. Everyone needs to start to chill in this thread and instead of cussing each other out like a bunch of four year olds, lets have a civilized discussion while backing up our educated statements with fact. I think Mattboy needs to get involved more with this. He disagrees with me on a lot of points, but I respect what he says because he says it in a moderate manner without personal attacks. I respect a man that can keep a level head. The problem with the divisions on both sides of the party line is people have become to zealous and just take the party stance because it's acceptable. Take a deep breath and a chill pill before discussing further. |

afguy: You are being a child. If you are gonna debate, at least ACT mature. Heck, I am 15 years old and am twice as mature as you will ever be. And d00d, the "EDIT" link under your information was made for a reason.

listen "child" dont contradict me you know nothing about me so dont post up on me when you have yet to debated me on anything. i dont see you steping up and taking a debate anywhere around here.. did u post in this one? didnt think so. take your own advice. i know what the F*** edit button is. you have a problem with me battle me then you can talk your sh**! "DOOD"... very mature.. if i was in this to be mature i would have acted like it you want me to be mature here is my "mature" side. i'm not a person to see another person explaining their opinions and attacking them without giving them my opinion first and the having a calm conversation with them. if you want to debate me on your opinion with iraq and Bush i would be glad to conversate with you about the matter. I will not attack your age and call you ignorate only what your saying is ignorate. explain to you why i think it. state facts. *LISTEN* to what you have to say(big key). i'm not going to scream and yell about how your so dumb and you r being imature with your statement... |

The 15 and 16 year olds are going to have to leave this thread if you don't stop cussing and calling people names and arguing over who is more mature. If you want to have a debate about politics, go right ahead. But don't call people names or swear for no reason.

1) Read my (previous) post afguy. 2) @Deker: Why don't you talk specifically to the offenders? I am 16 and employ an extremely rational and mellow mind. :D 3) @afguy again: Stop being immature. Cussing is only detrimental to your cause. EDIT: And don't edit your post after the fact to make it seem like you were more level headed than you really were. And you need to work on your grammar and take some of your own medicine. People respect an opinion which is stated with finesse and style. |
