The post wasn't attacking you. It was a friendly suggestion.

Now, ladies and gentlemen, afguy will proceed in attacking himself:

Let me start off with the recently posted:
if i was in this to be mature i would have acted like it you want me to be mature here is my "mature" side. i'm not a person to see another person explaining their opinions and attacking them without giving them my opinion first and the having a calm conversation with them. if you want to debate me on your opinion with iraq and Bush i would be glad to conversate with you about the matter. I will not attack your age and call you ignorate only what your saying is ignorate. explain to you why i think it. state facts. *LISTEN* to what you have to say(big key).

Preceeded in the same post with:
i know what the F*** edit button is. you have a problem with me battle me then you can talk your sh**!

Now for the previously posted morsels of contradictory goodness.

hell yeah damn right go bush!!!!
and may god continue to bless america!!!

ps i'm only 16 i wouldnt really listen to much of what i say...

...then a little:
yeah i heard thats what he [Saddam] did on like cnn and stuff...
someone before posted a article from cnn about why he got into yale: good work lets go get a article from the worlds most liberal station there is... great way to get your point across...

Hmmm, it appears we have some mixed feelings about CNN? Indicision?

Whether he's done cocaine and you've drunk, it's all the same... just ones illegal and one isn’t but they still affect you. How does that make him any less of a person then you he sure ass hell got a better job then you.

Didn't you previously tell people not to assume things about you? It appears you have just assumed something about me.

And then there is the classically eloquent:
so thank you for backing my point up!!!! as for your f***ing question you can look at how he has stood up to saddam and didnt P*SSY out like a b*tch like you would!!! mtf think you know every god damn thing there is about bush at least i admit he isnt perfect but to you he has done nothing positive in his 4 years when the f***ing facts are right in front of you face!!! f*** this is why i dont like debates b/c people from the other side take S*** to personal and have to lower the other person so they can get a point across.

Paavo: Dude, take it easy.
And if you don't know anything about politics, then your opinions are a bit weak, no?

afguy: r u saying everything i have said is weak?

You debate youself! How convenient!

EDIT:
post 1:edited what?

Don't lie. I should have taken a screenshot.

post 2: i didnt even read any of your post

If you are not willing to read the opinions of others, how can you engage in a debate?

You guys aren't keeping this on topic... Drop the little feud and get back to politics, or I'm closing the thread. You can point out every contradictory statement anyone has ever made on AIM or MSN. If you want to talk about politics in a mature fashion, you can do that here. Try writing any other posts you make in this thread without using the word "you" and we might be able to get somewhere.

In my opinion, I do believe we had a right to get into this war. Wasn't it said that they found jets buried in the dirt, and other things around Iraq? The UN obviously wasn't doing much about that, does that give us a right to at least try to stop something before it happens?

He didn't veto it. In fact he did very little.

If he’s going to be the leader and spokesman of this country what he does, whether he veto’s a bill or not that will get passed or not passed reflects his leadership. I’m sorry but if lots of people suffer because he doesn’t take a stand to help them that’s wrong.

The big picture isn’t even about that bill in the first place. That’s just a small piece of his incompetence. That’s how I feel.

I don’t feel like getting into a pissing contest with you…

Do you realize how hard Yale is? How hard it is to get accepted? I don’t think you do.

Ignore the article if you want, and ignore it because it’s too liberal for you. Look at the stats. How does someone like that get into Yale without a little help? I’m not saying he’s stupid, I’m pointing out he got help and that’s why he got in, in the first place.

I'm not going to go back and find the quote, but Paavo mentioned that he thought that just because you went to Yale (or a similar post-secondary institute) didn't mean you were any smarter than anyone else.

This is obviously not true. You have to be like in the top 3% of your high school to get into a school like that, and it does work you a lot harder and teach you a lot more than any community college. Schooling is very competitive in the United States, and there are a lot of smart people coming out of those schools. Unfortunately, there are a lot more stupid people not going to any school and making Americans seem stupid as a whole. It's too bad, but nothing anyone says is going to change that. I guess its a roundabout way of saying it, but I think that Bush is smart, and knows what he's doing.

I also think that America should be helping less fortunate countries and peoples as much as possible. The Afgans and the Iraqis have been suppressed by their rulers. I dont care who gave money to who or who supported who when - right now people living in the forementioned countries (and many others) are not receiving the treatment they want, and President Bush (and the rest of his cabinet) is now doing something about it. Good for him.

I would like to hear the ideas from the people that dislike the foreign policies of the United States about what the US should be doing / have done
- in Iraq;
- in Afganistan, and;
- after 9/11.

I'm seriously interested in your ideas. The main reason I'm asking is because I think that it is 100x easier to insult and say negative things about people than it is to compliment or suggest new things. Just think - how often do you compliment people? Insult them?

Allright - bedtime.
