Quiet a lot of games are now available for mac, you'd be surprised at the amount of them. www.macgamer.com

P.S the new iPod is one of the sweetest things ever..i recommend it to absolutely anyone, even PC users.

Yea those Ipods do rock. I would get one if I had the cash, but until then I will just use my cool md player. But the ipods are the best.

Anyways, as to all major graphical software being available. Autodesk Autocad, one of the worlds most renowned CAD-applications is not available on the mac.

And as to stuff being 10 times better: "The contest compared renderings of files created in Adobe® After Effects®, Illustrator®, and Photoshop® software that are typical to the video post-production workflow. The PC consistently outperformed the Macintosh machine, at an impressive rate. " That was from a test adobe did. It was on a g4 machine, but still...

There's lots of other stuff. Thats just a little bit. I'm not saying macs are junk, but I am saying they are not the perfect machine that some mac fans say they are. And I am saying they don't give that many advantages over pc's.

Mac OSX is Unix, so saying that you can have more OS's on the PC is quite incorrect. You can run Mac OSX, Unix/Linux, and Windows on a Mac, through Virtual PC.

I don't see how the graphics programs would be any better on a Mac, because they are basically identical to the PC version.

Do you use AutaCAD daily? Or is that just some obscure software that isn't available for the Mac that you use as a reason why you think they are inferior? I've actually found a ton of software on the Mac that isn't available on the PC that I would really like to have. I haven't found anything the other way around, except for games. And maybe TopStyle Pro. But there are CSS editors for the Mac as well, plus you have Dreamweaver and everything.

And Macs really aren't that expensive. Sure you can slap a machine together from parts for cheaper, but that isn't really the point. I've wasted dozens of hours just in the last 2 weeks trying to keep viruses off this damn Windows box, that I could have spent actually making money if I had a Mac. The time I've spent messing around with getting the computer to work just this month alone could have easily paid for the initial cost difference between the PC and the Mac.

Ok, autoCAD isn't an obsure little program ok?

And I wasn't saying that pc had more platforms. I just said it had lots of platfroms.

Anyways, I haven't had any trouble with viruses. And macs do crash. Anyways, just about everything said here is true. And there are virtual mac programs for windows too.

If that's where you get all your information about Macs, then have fun with your PC. No point in arguing with someone that believes a web site like that.

Well, show me whats not true on it. And no, thats not where I get all my information. There was a whole bunch of sources reported on that adobe benchmark that showed pc's to be faster.

I don't think anyone is arguing that the PC isn't faster (except maybe the dual G5, but no one really knows how fast that is yet). If you want raw horsepower and AutoCAD, build yourself a PC. Enjoy.

AutoCad is great, I studied them in school, I used for architectural designs and 3D modeling, it's a sweet program actually, easy to use and you start most stuff with a line, about the virus, I know a guy who work for a software company and living in maryland and got hit. I don't really know how the virus work yet but I guess I'm pretty prepared, I have Norton Anti-virus 2002 don't know if that's enough.

Also, I used mac before, I kinda like it excpet the only 1 mouse click thing I can never get over that. Besides it doesn't crash (freeze) although I think windows xp doesn't as well. I don't really think computer should be a machine for video gaming although I've done it quiet extensivly in the past (CS, Starcraft, Diablo, etc.)

hahaha, ok that right there is enough to make that whole site laughable. A couple of years ago all the PC users made fun of the Mac for only having a GUI, while they had the super powerful "Command Line". Now they are putting down the Mac all of the sudden because it has a Terminal. Hilarious.

Ok i'll admit, that does seem pretty stupid. I thought was pretty dumb myself. But thats only one thing, and a minor one at that.

And thanks x-fusion for your balanced comment. It was good.
