heh yea i had been looking at PCs at compaq's website and was thinking on a presario8000 that i had configured down to 1049, athlon Xp 2000 (1.67 ghz)

NO MONITOR :(
and a 64 MB GFC4 MX 420 or something like that
which i'm told isn't exactly top of the line. heh but better
tahn my current TNT2. :(

MX blows for all geforce cards, lol. Ti is the only way to go

/me needs to get a new video card after new mobo

hey alpha2cookie, how do you like your ViewSonic Monitor? Have you ever calibrated it?

I just ordered one, so I'm curious to see if you like/dislike it.

They have a geForce4 ti 4200 for around 130$ (so I have been told).

If I get enough money, I'm going to buy a CD-ROM, but not until they have more support for them, and more software available on them.
