Just let us know how you feel, and why you feel that way. Is it a woman's right to abort an unborn child? Should the government be able to tell a woman what she can do to her body? We've had a break from heated discussion, and this is probably the most heated debate since the beginning of time. |

Oh dang, I know this is going to get good. I really don't have all my research down on this issue. But there are many aspects to consider with wisdom. If the government can dictate what a woman does to/with her body, then apparently that can go further. What I mean to say is that the government would have more rule upon a woman's decisions concerning her body in any regards, from childbearing to having sex (simply an illustration). Now about a woman's right to abort is what's going to be a good one, because I have questions on that myself. At which point does the child become an independent being? For instance if a mother kills her children, as we've heard of before, than she gets tried and off to prison, when convicted. Wouldn't that apply in the same regard to an unborn child, because the child is still a life? Like I said, I too have questions, and another one I have is: What are some logical reasons a woman would abort a child, other than if the child is endangering the mother's health due to health risks of the child in the womb. |

Imo it's 100% up to the woman. There are two different ways of a abortion, I mean...at the beginning you can make an abortion when the baby still isn't a baby then I don't think it should even be called an abortion. But when it's too late and you have to have the baby and then give it away, then it comes problems and it's a whole other game. But I don't think you can say if it's right or wrong... It depends on the woman, where she is at her life at that time... Young people have hard enough time being able to take care of themselves and then if you put a child in to the picture it can ruin the womans (and mans) life. ....I know.... |

Until the babies neurons start firing they are technically not human because they don't have the ability for human thought. Up to that point abortion is ok, but as soon as neurons fire it's not ok. That late term abortion stuff is wacko. Unless of course the babie has the possibility of killing the mother in childbirth, then I think abortion is a viable choice. |

Abortion is murder, not a choice. As long as murder is illegal, the government has the right to deny any woman the right to commit that murder. The majority of abortions happen because the pregnancy is 'inconvienent'. :: didn't want to dissappoint ya Mattboy, I know ya needed one hardline pro-lifer to make this thread fun :: |

well i dont really like the idea of abortion, of course the situation has never happened to me but Id perfer if they dont want the baby, give it up for adoption for someone else to love, there are many couples waiting for a child to adopt.
