Hey Paavo, I don't really like Bush either. But, I like having the freedom to say that without getting my door kicked in.

Also, I don't think we should blow up Iraq. I think Saddam Hussein has conflicting interests with the UN - and he should be punished for that - not - his innocent civilians. Funny thing is, Bush is conflicting with the UN by saying we should attack him with or without UN support. funny how that works...hmmm.

Canada didn't do anything wrong. - WTF? I want to move there sometimes. Especially when I read the US newspapers, or watch slanted, biased news networks. (and during hockey season, which goes without saying...)

...I don't care, as long as they remember that what they do will have erreversiable effects for EVERYONE, I just hope that they do the rational thing rather than go on some dumb @$$ ego trip they've already killed canadians who died needlessly because of this whats next ?

I voted for Gore, bro. Not that he'd handle this any better, but just so you know - I really can't stop my government any more than you can, eh. - oh, and I really don't think we've killed as many Canadians as we have innocent 18 year old American men who only went into the military because they couldn't pay for college without it.

Additionally, If some future Osama bin Laden comes and craps a few suicide jetliners into Montreal - who do you think would have your back?

just something to think about...

the only reply i read was Axiom's and that pretty much sums up my thoughts as well.

Like I said in the other post, the media fails to relay the experiences of those who were there in person. Therefore, the majority of the people who just sat at home all over America watching TV doesn't comprehend what happens, so ignorance and denial is the norm for those people, and I don't argue that. It's the same reason why we don't know how intense it is in other countries that the United States has attacked because the media is biased.

And btw...

Is there something in Canada to hit? The WTC was targeted not only because it was in the US, but, it houses businesses and people from around the world, making it an international building. It was an offense towards the international community. If they wanted to attack the US then they have DC, US air bases, etc.

To many, to long posts, haven't read them all, just a few/page, but I get the general idea. On the one hand -"we should punish-we should bomb them-we support Bush" guy's, on the other hand, "we don't think every muslim should have to suffer for what Osama did-don't play global police" guy's. Two opposite forces on a crash course here ;-)

I'll say this, without adding any thoughts to the discussion (I could agree partly with both sides here, stand up kind of guy, eh ?) I read in an article or saw it on TV (or something, really donät remember this kinda stuff just sticks to my memory) that in the world there is aprox 10 million muslims and 0,01 % of them are fundamentalists, start raving looneis if you will. Is it then ok to bomb the living hell outta the other 99,9 % of the muslims ?

I wish there was a fast way of determin wich these ugly guys are, and then I wouldn't have any problem with the bomb theory. Go get them !!! But the real life problem of the matter is, that there are no way of picking these guys out, are there ? So how on earth should one do to punish them without carrying out a genocide. And if thats the only way, do you bombtheory guys really think, I mean seriously think that it's ok...? I can't think that of you. 10 000 000 peoples extermination b'cause of what aprox 100 000 other crazy fugs done/do. That isn't right, Almost kinda Hitler, isn't it ???

Sorry, did add to the discussion anyway, couldn't help myself ;-)
