Step one: Find out who did this with 100% facts. Step two: Torture the Mother Fuc@er until they slowly die, then put their head on a stick and place it where the world trade buildings were. Anyone who thinks we had this coming is SICK... Stick our noses where it doesn't belong, give me an f'ing break. We help out more people than most other countried combined. It's time to unite and take out the bad guys once and for all. |

The fact that Canada doesn't have a huge armed forces shows the type of people we are. It shows that we are not violent people, it shows we are peaceful people, it shows that we would rather die using words, then to win knowing we killed people that weren't even involved. I guess some countries think with their hearts and some with their guns

To you American-haters: I guarantee if your mother had been in one of those buildings, you would feel completely different about this issue. No, I did not have a family member in there that I know of at this moment, but I consider us all to be brothers in some form. About my statement earlier about "an eye for an eye", I would like to expand upon that further by stating that I am a firm believer in the death penalty. I believe that every rapist, murderer, and terrorist who admits guilt should be punished the exact same way or method that they punished their victims. And also, where would the world be without American invention and ingenuity? Just about nowhere. To you people that think America had this coming. You have no idea how much America protects (not directly) your country. Terrorist countries know that America will get involved with any dispute where Democracy is challenged. And since you are here, you are most likely in a Democracy otherwise you would not have internet access. So before you go America-Bashing, think about that. |

1. there's no use arguing on this board. i am as mad as anyone else and i (like everyone else on this board) have absolutely no say in how the US reacts to this situation. i just hope actions can be taken to put a stop to whoever is responsible. 2. it is really sad to see that some people have the nerve to criticize us as a country during this tragedy. show some ****ing sensitivity. what happened today was a horrible thing...innocent people are dead. save that "O Canada" **** for another time. right now, let people be angry. they have that right. 3. i could see the pentagon smoking from work and that is a scary thing. 4. the US will not intentionally kill civilians. |

"Kill every prospective terrorist" "bash the living **** out of their country" I don't think I need to comment on these. But I think my pont is clear. As for Axiom's comment: "Considering that Canada did participate in WWII, I won't say you are totally unprepared. Unfortunatly, you have no idea what it is like growing up, knowing that some country across the ocean has 20 mega-ton warheads pointed at your city " The cuban missile crisis? Remeber that? Of course you do. The range of the explosive power from those missiles could've well reached Canada. Remember, Canada is your neighbour. We are in almost everything together. We are your biggest trade partener. We need each other. Issues that affect the US affect Canada. So don't be ignorant in saying that we don't know what it's about. We do. |

According to the information I studied in college, the missles that were stationed in Cuba at the time of the "Cuban Missle Crisis" had a range of 1000 miles and could have reached Washington in 5 minutes. Given that, Canada hasn't been threatened by any foreign enemy since probably the War of 1812. During the 1960's, the association of Canada with the US was nothing like it is today. The Soviet Unions target #1 was never anyone other than the United States. Perhaps you should explain this to your fellow countryman, KayFlash. |

I know we are in this together thank you but I can't say I'm happy for it. Now for the fact that "Canada hasn't been threatened by any foreign enemy since probably the War of 1812" shows our nature clearly. Now I don't know how everyone has interpreted what I have written but let me clear things up a bit. I am Canadian, and proud of our lack of involvement in wars that do not affect us. I am not saying that all Americans are bad people as they are not. I am also not saying that they are wrong for being angry as your not. I too am angry, not at Americans but at an attitude that says to fight fire with fire. Sometimes water stops fire best. I am also not saying that this is your fault, as it's everyone's, Canadians, Germans, Americans, etc., for not being big enough to say no to violence and to stop hate crimes in there many forms. I am saddened too by this horrid tragedy. As most I'm sure are. I too am effected by this as I have relatives in NY now as well as have friends, friends there too. Their state too is unknown. I believe that those who are involved should be punished greatly, however, I don't necessarily believe in the death penalty. I know that this could cause another world war, that we would unfortunately not make it through. I hope that the world for once can stop this type of action from happening again. I also hope that countries who aren't directly involved don't get involved. *I do know that Canada has already stepped in with some assistance and I am proud of this. Helping to save lives, by giving a well needed hand, is always a great thing! I also hope that by the end of the week I will have given blood, though it may already be too late.* I hope that this helps to clear the smut that has been suggested or out and out sad about me and where I stand. As NO one knows where I stand on this as I too am not completely sure. |
