So, earlier today, I went to the Galleria Mall in Buffalo NY, and visited the friendly neighborhood Apple store. If you've never visited one, all that I can say is that that is how computers should be sold. They have all of them right out there, you can test them out, no pushy salesmen, nothing.
But back to the G5, dude...It was...relentlessly fast. Like...

Wow.

Another sweet thing about that place is that all of the display models (Some 20 machines) all have PS, assumably with the lil' G5 upgrade pack that Adobe's been pimping lately. Unfortunately though, I only had like 2 minutes to spare, so I didn't even crack PS open, but I'm sure it woulda been sweet. Either way, it was good stuff all around. And, they just look soooo damn pretty.

lol...Lucky bastard.

I want one SOOOOOOO bad. I'm thinking about taking out a student loan to get one. I know they're expensive, but I don't really think the prices are exactly crazy.
I dunno...
My powerbook has really been showing it's age lately. It's one of the first generation titanium G4 one's, and the monitor's got these 2 awful dead pixel rows, the firewire port's broken, and the CD-R/RW drive doesn't burn anymore. I got it used, from someone who like, beat the hell out of it. Not in a bad way, he's just a hardcore web designer, and he had high demands of his machine. He replaced the one that he gave me with a 17" powerbook, one of the new ones, and in addition to that, he's got a 17" iMac, and a Powermac G4 tower, and some 2 or 3 other hardcore graphics PC's. He makes sick money at web design, and I have to some extent become a protegé of his. Hopefully, I can get a cut of the profits.

Ok, I know someone is going to kick me in the head for this, but what exactly is after effects? I know, I know, it's a popular, and widely used program. but I just don't know what it is, or what it does.

I want a G5 computer also, this beast im working on aint working like its old self anymore. But since the G5 cost about 2 thousand in the u.s, it would be nearly $3500 here in canada.Thats a lot to spend on a computer for sure, maybe I would be better off getting a 80+ GB hard disk space of a computer instead. But umm hmm, a G5 would surely be nice.

Also, when I looked over the G5, not only did they make it the fastest computer in the world, but they made it look good. Im not familuar with the G4, but the G5 actually has a lot of color inside the computer, none of this dark sh!t.
