Hey, i've been reading past posts and alot of ppl posting links to sites (which are v.simple) have said they really like the sites. Well i was wondering what type of website ppl like, such as maybe; -Advanced flashy clicky up-to-date one -Advanced but simple layout -Graphically intense -Quick to load (lol i know everyone wants this but i mean, simple) -Straight forward nav. -etc... (add own) and also what code etc.. do ppl prefer websites in? such as flash php (html but wiv ? insert codes etc) html html-mainly graphics Just wondered cuz i prefer a clicky advanced up-to-date snazzy one, but i hate it when it takes you half an hour to find a button or the text is too small or takes to long to load etc... Cheers, be interestin' ;) |

Personally, I just want something that is easy to navigate and looks nice. I absolutely hate full flash sites... I think flash is good to accent a page, but not as a whole website. JMO.

Maybe because you are looking at the user arena where members post their site work for critique? I like sites that are unique, colorful, not tryin to be trendy, and load well. I really like flash, but dont want to sit through someones college project just to get to the site. |

i spose th answer to that wud b a flash intro wiv normal html/what ever page? but th thing i like about flash is it's displayed th same on everyone's puter, u can place stuff WHEREVER u want(no dodgy tables) n u can mess about wiv it, have it slide in, pop up, fade to etc... quality luv flash. but ease of use is critical. |

Graphic-dominated HTML is my choice... I like sites that are designed to be like art exhibits. Flash is really low on my list, unless it's used very [keyword] creatively in hybrids. The thing is... who cares if you can place everything where you want with flash, you can do the same thing easily with HTML; you just need to be good at coding. The benefits of this would be a faster loading time and easier modification. And what I hate more than a misuse of Flash is horrible typing. ;) |

I pretty much like kinds of sites, as long as they are original and stylish and try to push the envelope of design. Those are the sites that I presonally enjoy looking at.

Basically I like a site that has easy navigation, style meaning that nothing is too overdone... or it's not unoriginal. Oh, and mellow colors too... none of that pink/green ****.

Hey mo0, whats with the flying joint?? :D I used to be a big flash lover, but know I appreciate a well done HTML site. It simply just has an attractive look to it. I want fast, effective, and easy usability. Nothing is worse then a flash intro just for the sake of one. Flash intros are so 2 years ago. ;) |
