whoa, my college does have a deal with apple so that that prices are cheaper! this will prob make up the difference between a ibook and a powerbook thanks!

Yup, you should be able to save a couple hundred bucks with Apple's educational discounts.

you should know what you are talking about before you say something. a 18.4gb 15000 rpm hd is only 200 bucks... 73 gb 15000 rpm is only around 600 bucks. i have no clue where you buy your hardware but you are getting ripped off big time.
