Wrong, i have no problem with Graffiti. I do have a problem, however, with vanidlism.

If your read my posts i have made no comments about his specific artwork, and infact say that i DO like the art style very much so!!

However, it ceases to be artwork in my eyes when you are doing in a destructive manner. I made no such sterotype as to say all graffiti is done in an illegal manner.

Reguardless of how good it is, when you are doing it on SOMEONE ELSE'S PROPERTY it pisses me off. I take the train often and just to see there buildings covered in a patchwork of different colors because someone is desperatly trying to keep their buildings Graffiti-free. They have to pay money to do this. Alot of times, it taxpayer's money when the city comes and cleans it up.

Graffiti is fine, someone whining how the gov't keeps eracing it is just so lame.

Basically i believe people can do whatever the hell they want as long as it doesn't invovle unwilling parties. Taging on someone else's property suddenly makes it someone else's problem. And it invovles time and money to clean it up.

So you do it in a place that you know you aren't suposed to do it at and you have the gall to complain? If i draw on my desk i can't complain when the janitor comes in at night and cleans it up.

its just how me and other writers express ourselves..

Hm, right. Where you do it shouldn't be WHY you do it. its about the art, not the canvas.
you'll have to live where i am to feel what's pressure

*shakes head* how does this justify your means of 'release'

From a psychological point of view, I would have to say that it seems that somehow you have been personally affected by vandalism.......This whole vandalism thing is REALLY a thorn in your side.....

Hey listen, maybe you just need a hug?

Jim (hehe)

Couldnt resist.....

*open arms wide*

And no, i've never had my stuff vandalized that i can recall. Maybe someone once wrote on my notebook or something silly like that but no, this isn't some deep psychological hate that makes me attack graffiti and assoicate it with evil. lol

Its just so clear to me, that reguardless of what your doing, when you put something on someone else's property, and whatever you are putting on there is UNWANTED, than congrats, you have just defaced the property. Its unwated, obviously, by the owner. This isn't because against the law, although it does happen to be illegal, its because you aren't respecting someone's property. Its like a big '**** you' in their face. Thats why it has such a bad rep.
