That's basically as simple as the truth gets....I grabbed the .zip file MBB posted, and opened it right up. I ditched any color profiling it might have carried and it really wasn't too bad looking in the AdobeRGB color space. I was thinking perhaps there might have been something weird in the meta-data in the file, so I copied the image to a new document, changed it from CMYK to RGB and bumped the Midlevels a little. Saved it out and sent the .PSD back to MBB. I looked at MBB's dilemma as a challenge, figuring I might have to grind the file through one or another of my utilities (MacLinks Plus, FileBuddy, GraphicConverter, etc). Nope...didn't have to...and I still have no idea why there was a problem to begin with. |

I guess I shoulda checked 'em on the mac.
