Oh I see, well you could do something very similar in photoshop, I've done stuff like that before.

Here are some tutorials on how to make photoshop trendwhore crystals. Here I only used: polygon tool, free transform and blending modes. I started with making one sharp spike, I duplicated them 6 times, did free transform on every of them, then put them all to screen, then merge them all, copy the layer, put it to screen again, copied, free tranform, copied, free transform, color balance, add text and this is what I got. http://www.schoolrock.be/fotos/wtf.jpg |
