two-hundred megs is still tiny. Oh well... heheheheeee.... and I consider my art folder tiny... I looked to see how big it was, and its 6.592 gigs. Now thats tiny. Grm. And sidez, don't make me hit you. Macs suck. I hate them. I have a personal vendetta against them. You are either with me, or with the Macintosh! (gee... didn't Bush say something like that? lol) :D

1. mac's and PC's are diff.. you use what makes you more comfy, i feel more comfy doing my graphics and web design on my mac and doing music, film, and 3D on my PC, i like using my mac for just chatting, now everyone knows that all the pro's in the mainstream industry all use macs for graphics, film, music, web design, but basicly i believe you use which ever system you do your best work on, i may feel that Final Cut Pro on a mac is better then Adobe Preimer on a PC, but someone may feel diffrently and do a equally good job =) its all in the artist

also only real artist use booth PC and Mac and are not negative towrds either system, you hate PC's then fine, you hate macs, then fine, but understand a company wont hire someone that will only use one system and wont touch another....

i only use PC's for music cus of ACID and a few other PC only programs, but i only use my Mac for graphics cus all the graphics programs i use are either only for mac or work the best on mac, understand?

2. Win98 is bad, but not as bad as WinME, now i had Win95 for ALONG time and it only froze 5 times on me, but i keep my comps healthy and well maintained and i also am VERY careful of what i download =)

3. im buying a DVD-RW this summer so i can back all my stuff

I think banning Zazi would solve the whole problem. I think everyone would be generally happier around here.

I'm all for banning. I really don't even know whats going on, but I just wanna see somebody get banned.

nah dont ban him, he has probally never used a mac for 3D or Designing or rendering, he hates what he does not know and does not understand

macs have a bad rep. and it makes me mad, but also people only think PC's are for gaming, when there are MANY other great things about them, it funny people always think PC = gaming and Mac's = graphics

but sadly with OSX macs are fun as hell to have when gaming, and someone can do equally good on PC in the graphics world, damn we have to deal with stereotypes in real life and we have to deal with them in the computer world...

Use it. Still, it doesn't mean that anyone has the right to mess with your files, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

Sure, 40 or even 200 mB could sound like a small amount of graphics/art to someone like Zazi who is the Ultimate graphics dude :rolleyes:

But isn't it the principle here, though ? Does it matter what amount that gets deleted or messed with ? I think not. Bonamo got 200 mB of quality stuff and Zazi got 6-7 gig of soso stuff, if either one is unable to locate it due to an intrusion of some kind, I bet ya they're gonna feel equal pissed off.

Btw, I'm drivin' win-98. And allthough I wanna change to XP (when it's concidered...bugfree,... Whuaaa like a windows product ever will) I haven't experienced any problems or bluescreens. In the aspect of safety I can agree with ya'll, -98 isn't to safe that's for sure...Ehrm. But userwise I don' buy all that crap talk thats bein' thrown around. I could say the same 'bout XP 'cuz I got a number of friends who got it and they do not like it a bit due to shi**y performance. But I also hear of plp who got it to work properly, so...my point is:

I do think it is a li'l up to whom ever is behind the "wheel" to make it perform as you like, my friends with XP could pro'bly get updated drivers, change hardware to what is compatible with XP and so on.... I mean keep on messin with the reg and change settings and tweak on. Install, uninstall, never do a defragmentation or scandisc or no taking care if the "child" att all and every 'puter will be a problem. Add here some thinking like, viruses don' happen to me, and don' get a virusprotection program and you're done.

Every 'puter has some problems I think, and almost due to the operator. in those cases where there isn't a pc-operator related problem it's almost "fixable" in some way. (Buying a new 'puter :D )
