While we're on music, if anyone here is a NASCAR fan and wants a good song about Dale Earnhardt, get Ridin With The Legend by Tony Martin. It's country :p, but they played it a few times over the weekend on the race station while I was up at Talladega.

I had a good section of people with all their RV's/trucks/cars/etc cranking it one time when they were playing it. I wish I could of had all the 250 acres packed with people playing it. :D Would've gotten loud, heh.

Haha! music.. that's something i know a lil' bit of. Well, first some European:
- Finally, another Norwegian band with international cred. Check out Røyksopp (translated: smoke mushroom). Electronic music.. a bit like Daft Punk. Although I'm not a big electronic music fan, I love this.
- Gomez - In our Gun. Fantastic musician and producers.... no one mixes the genres like this guys. My favourite.
- Sondre Lerche - another Norwegian guy. Great songwriter.... i doubt you can find his albums in the international market...... yet.

International:
- Finally another new and good the Tea Party album. The viritous Canadian rockers strike back after a couple not so good records.
- The new Bad religion album. They too are heading the right direction again.

Everything. Right now I'm into my Doors phaze. Disturbed, Staind, Default is pretty good. Metallica. Lots of Metallica. Linkin Park. I've got some stuff from Vertical Horizon and Lifehouse. Matchbox 20. Sevendust is great. I've been playing along with some Creed. Static-X. NIN. AC/DC. There's a christian band called The Benjamin Gate, very high quality sound. Thats about all I've listened to recently.

NOA - look for a band called the Apex Theory. I saw them open for Static X and Soulfly at the House Of Blues here in Vegas. They are all over the radio here, too. LA band, you'll dig it...

Metallica black album. Definite must have. Elliott Smith (he's american, brilliant acoustic stuff, not country), Counting Crows, Queen's greatest hits, Moby-Play, REM (any), Zero 7, Lemon Jelly, Matchbox 20, Train....and the list goes on. I can listen to alsmost anything at all, once it has a good tune, a bit of guitar and is not really heavy. Nothing Else Matters by metallica is brilliant, i can play all of that on my acoustic. Beatles are still going strong, but i'm not a fan. British music sucks so much bumhole. Irish music, such as the Corrs and the Frames (amazing band) are very cool.

POD! yay!

I'm really liking the Jimmy Eat World album... I had never heard them before that 'everything' song came out.

I always like the 2 skinnee J's.

there is a local nashville band worth checking out: www.shunband.com they are kind of like deftones/tool/radiohead all mixed into one. Great stuff. Played a lot of shows with them.

I don't know many obscure bands that are any good... I have a lot more to recommend, but you've probably already heard everything like weezer, far, 311, all that stuff.

Headstrong - All Of The Above
Four Tet - No More Mosquitos
Pinback - Concrete Seconds
American Analog Set - Aaron & Maria
Vendetta Red - Shatterday
Anyone - Fly
Anyone - Turn Around
Dry Cell - Body Crumbles
Regency Buck - Free To Change Your Mind
Kevin Denny (sp?) - Takin' Off The Edge
