I've been there before as well (2advanced), they put
out great stuff too.

What more do you know about them?

I thought it was just one dude, but a few years
went by and I think they now have more peeps
on board to help.

I think it's safe to say those guys each make
$100,000 a year, if not more?.....

I think Deker is right. If your business name is terrible, you don't have the marketing "Oomph" you need. If you have a computer networking company named "ABC Computers", and your competitor is named "Converged Technolgies", then you are likely going to lose business, because "ABC Computers" sounds unprofessional. You need to think about yourself in relation to your competitors if you want to succeed. It's tough to make your work stand for itself when you don't have the money for a full-blown marketing plan. If you don't have the money, you need to have at least a name that people can remember, that will impress, and that will not turn anyone off with it's "uncreativeness".

Hey mattboy, how's it going?

I used to post here a few years ago under the name aaronious.

Maybe you don't remember me, but I remember your posts
way back then. Maybe 2-3 years ago?

Anyways, good to talk to you again.

Thanks for the input.

According to their site they have about 20 designers now. And yet all their work still looks the same as it did 5 years ago. Hm....

I already shared my thoughts on 2advanced... http://www.onethreeone.com/blog/archives/000045.php

I knew a really good designer who picked Sokt as a name for his design business... well, he spent more time trying to tell people how to pronounce it, then he did selling websites. (Socked or Soaked?)

Jeremy, welcome aboard. Outstanding portfolio. I am stupified by the photography, I bow in deference!!!

Yes, and I learned from my mistake and now I am helping others to not make the same one.
