14 year olds?... um, like no......
I'll refrain from saying more, just for the sake of being nice.

On we go......

Would you say the same about "Pank"?

I mean, what is a pank? Does that name scream professionalism?
What message does the name "Pank" communicate?

I'm sure it's special to him in many ways, but
what would make a customer care?
As long as he produces great work?

(Sorry pank, just an example - I adore your work)

See my point?

You might want to spend more time in the community before you take pot shots @ the founder. His name is Bob Pankala. But his business website is Extreme Pixels.

Don't be getting all defensive--that'll never get you far here, especially if you decide to start taking advantage of the critiquing forums here. People are boldly honest with each other here. If you don't like a particular feed of information, just file it and move on to the next bit of advice. Remember, you asked for help, and if you trash the people giving it, pretty soon your threads will sound like a chorus of crickets singing barbershop (I just made that up!).

I like Ezno Design, or Ezno Media better than anything your running already.

Nostalgia - congrats on the name calling.
REAL mature. And thank you also for stating the obvious.

I'm talking about the decision of
selling your work under a personal name versus
giving it more of a business friendly name.

If you don't like my names, that's fine.
Honest opinions are good.
But insults don't do a thing.

Glad to see everyone here is so welcoming.
Jeez.

Malibu,

My intentions were NEVER to disrespect Pank.

Like I said in the post... I ADORE his work. That's not a lie.
I could only hope to be as good and successful someday.

I'm very sorry if using his name as an example came across
in any other way. In the future, I'll use better judgement.
I was simply trying to get advice on the pro's and con's
of putting your work out there to sell under a personal
name versus a business friendly one.

If it came across a different way, I'm sorry.

I thank you again for your input and ideas. It helps.

I know Malibu, Thanks.

It's not the proper spelling of my last name,
but it is how it's pronounced and seems to
be easier for people to remember.

Maybe I just need to put some more confidence
behind my own name and go from there?

pixelgrazer is a great name, btw.

no need to be nice, i'm just telling you what it sounds like. "fx" does not sound at all professional, its got a hacker/leet feel to it. hence 14 yr olds.

gonzo-graphics.com

Follow my logic here:

1. Enzo sounds like Gonzo.
2. Gonzo is a unique character.
3. You want your work to stand out and be unique, like Gonzo.
