Actually, it's Ezno - not enzo.

But it just so happens I'm a musician as well.
I've been playing the drums for just over 15 years now
and my favorite drummer is BONZO.

???

what about bonzofx.com?
(just for you fig)
:p

I think its the FX thing you are dragging along that makes it sound so kiddish, but it also depends on type of work you are doing i suppose and who your target market is. eg bonzofx would attract younger gamers etc where as bonzodesign would probably attract the corporate clients IMO anyaway.

I was poking Fig in the ribs a tad is all.

Laughing at myself a bit too.

I really wasn't serious about adding the fx to the name bonzo.
But I thank you for your opinion!

Nice forum you have here. Mind if I join? :-)

Fig - Thank you for the kind words!

deker - I Love your PayPal Fee Calculator. Someone pointed me to it the other day and I was impressed.

Aey2k - Ezno is a great name, and you should start there for your ideas. Your identity is an element of success, but Fig was right, the quality of work and relationships are the most important.

The etymology of Pixelgrazer - The other owner of Pixelgrazer, Jeremy Cowart, came up with the name. He broke his last name into two words, Cow Art and jokingly created a screen of pixelated cows. Scattered about, it stated pixel grazer. It just stuck. I think most great ideas are born in such a fashion.

Thanks for the advice!

I got the chance to visit pixelgrazer.com and was blown away.
You guys do great work! How do you equal out the pay
between 3 peeps like that? lol .... Must be like being in a band.

Do you like the ezno design name, even though that's not how you spell it?
hmmm... somthing to ponder I guess.

Anyways.....

This thread has made me think of certain things
that were in my mind, and with the help of all of you
and my wife - I have something solid to go on.

I have come up with a new name to use,
but I haven't registered it yet, so you guys will
have to wait to see what I've decided on.
I'm very happy with it and so is my wifey.

I plan on keeping my others (aey2k, massfx) to use them for other ideas.

the aey2k site I wil probably make into a personal blog area for
my friends & family to visit - since they already know how
great of a person I am, I don't need to impress
them with fancy names.

the massfx site I'm not sure of yet.... maybe a photoshop artist
tutorial site... not sure. I may just end up dumping it instead.

again, thanks for the great advice.

My opinion is if the work is above average the name really doesn't matter. I personally think it seems there is too much concern over the name. Worry more about building a portfolio and the name will follow regardless of what it is ;)

If I had a site called crapdesigns but my work was over the top it wouldn't matter. If I had a site called crapdesigns and my work was horrible the name would apply. The work will dictate the name.

Just my 2 cents.

I think the name is still very important. If you have great work, and are a bad business person, you're going to lose business regardless of how great your work is. A bad name doesn't necessarily mean you're a bad business person, but your portfolio is hardly the only thing you have to worry about.

Agreed but I still think it is not the most important area to focus on. If 2advanced were some 12 year old kid people would most like say it was too l33t sounding. Because of who they are the name does not matter and most likely helps. That was more or less my point.
