I'm interested to see what Lucas does after this film. I heard he plans on putting some of his earlier stuff on dvd. Like the droid and ewok cartoons and the ewok movies. If he decides to make any more films does anyone think it’ll be star wars related?

I heard that GL wants to do some more Indiana Jones movies. Or at least one more.

there's been a 4th indy film in pre-production for some time now. don't know if they've finally gotten a script together or not. i just hope GL produces and lets someone else direct.

Like with Epsidoes 5 and 6. Those kicked ass, all because GL didn't direct. And he also had writing help. But he didn't direct!

Same with Willow. ;) I could be alone on this one but I loved that movie. :p Directed by Ron Howard but Lucas came up with the story. I thought Lucas did a good job with Star War A New Hope though. His new movies aren't that bad either. He just did some bad casting in my opinion.

Willow was a great movie! Enjoyed it beacoup!

I've also liked almost any Rob Reiner directed movie... Princess Bride is one of my favs all time. But, then I'm off topic, aren't I?

I'll help you derail the thread by saying Daren Aronofsky is awesome too.

for me its really a sort of intangible thing. the original sw trilogy just had a heart to it that the new films haven't had. its not something i can define or quanitify, its just something that was there, this quality and soul to the films. the new ones may look slick and be well-produced but that certain something just isn't there imo.

and princess bride rocks. and there's an iron giant special edition coming out in two weeks, brad bird rocks too...
