Well sure, the first and second sucked harder than a Hoover, and nothing could ever match up to Empire Strikes Back, but this one looks great. From what I have been hearing it is going to be very dark, and very good. Someone who saw a very unfinshed version of it said, the very unfished version itself is right below Empire Strikes back in ranking. While I find that rather hard to believe, I look forward to it nontheless.

This trailer was originally shown on Entertainment Tonight as an exclusive world primer, and supposedly will be infront of The Incredibles (which I am going to see tonight.) Well, without further ado, the link.

hehe wouldn't take alot to be better than the last too , they looked exceptionally cheap..
the originals ones used technology to its greatest to make everything look as realy as possible.. they've really gone down hill.. in their attempt to make every thing look older or what not, everything just feels plastic looking and feeling to me, when it could be much more realistic.. and don't even get me started on the actors. I guess really the last 2 episodes have runied starwars for me drastically, and I have no hype what so ever for one more. heh I'd rather watch the ewok movie!

'Nother Mirror.

As for my opinion of the latest campaign of the franchise, I look at it like this:

George Lucas created it. He owns the rights to it. It wouldn't be here without him.
Therefore, for various fans to take a "how dare he change (whatever)" approach to the film, I think that's pretty ridiculous, because there was no star wars before him. It's not as though this is a remake of the civil war, or something. It's an original idea.

Well, was, in the 70's.

So, if he wants to make more movies, so be it.
And if we wish to pay to be entertained by them, then that's fine too.

I intend to be terribly, terribly entertained by this movie. Therefore, I shall gladly shell out my 8 something dollars to go see it.

And what the hell, maybe even buy a $30 soda.

Yeah, that was a pre-emptive verbal strike.
