Well, I am going to leave this forum, although I will probably look in here sometimes. I like the forum and the people in it except when they are making my posts into trash. Good forum, keep up the good work.

Now that you mention this I will voice my opinion here. I know sometimes people get the wrong impression or don't seem to "fit in" with the norm or what one might consider the norm. But the personal attacks can get quite annoying. I remember it happening to Skatalee and thought it was obnoxious. It was like everyone was after him with every post. I mean give the guy a break. If you feel the need to make personal jabs why not just send a note to an admin, have them review what the problem is and let them handle it if it's a valid point. At least give him the chance to be around awhile so at least the personal jabs are kind of funny and not taken the wrong way.

uhm where should I start?
... I don't think you should leave the board.
But you should think about what you post and how you are on this forum.
I don't think I'm am one of those people who goes against one guy.
I might have strong opinions and hars crituique but that's just how I am.
Some people might take offence of it but you shouldn't.
I mean when you come to the stage where you deside if you actually want to do this for real you will still have clients that say what is wrong with the work you do and you just have to agree with them.
Okey you have to say what you think is right or wrong but you still will hear negative things about your work.
Okey sometimes clients don't know **** what they talk about but people on forums usually knows what they are talking about.
It doesn't mean you have to change anything but you could learn things.
And not be like God damn it, he hates my stuff now I hate him.
That's just the way this works.

Okey going a bit off topic here.
Next subject.
You and your posts.
Well I kind of saw this comming.
You kept posting really odd posts which had nothing to do with this forum at all.
Then when some people told you that you shouldn't post stuff like that...what happens?
A few days later you post a thread about 3D glasses...
Come on, was that necessary?
You were digging your own grave there.

Next subject once again.
Teamphotoshop today.
For me it's sad to see all those great designers leaving one by one.
But that's the way it goes I guess.
This is the place where you start your "designing skills" then when you reach a certain level you go on.
It might be wrong for me to say that someone shouldn't post those "filter images".
But I'm just sick of them.
But when you think about what the purpose of this forum is, maybe those images aren't that bad.
Everyone always start off with those filter images, they are sooo cool in the beginning.
You notice that you are able to make something really cool even tho it's not hard at all.
I started out that way too... I think we all did.
Now I think 60% of everything that is posted here are those images.
Those images are the ones that gets most replies too.
If someone makes a matrix thing, you will have 10 replies by other people just starting out who is wondering which buttons to click to get the same result.
But then when someone like Mihai posts his amazing vector stuff or something it's only the ones who have been here longer that reply.
So this forum has devided in to two groups.
The ones who have been here a long time and the ones the ones just starting playing with photoshop.

The whole things comes to that I think I have a bit of a wrong picture of this forum
This is the place where the ones just started comes to learn and not the great designers showing their work (except a few of you guys out there).
I love most of the people who are hanging here :P
And that's why I don't want to leave.
It's like one big happy family in here.

All of the subject maybe went a bit off topic but I just wanted to say what I had in mind.
I'm leaving to Sweden in 3 days so I will be gone for a while soon, I have too much stuff to do.
So take care and have fun on this forum...
(I will still be here for 3 more days, being your worst nightmare :P)

I agree, you shouldn't leave. You just need to work on your forum "manners". I think you've got people to turn against you because first of all, you demand us to post faster. This marked you for criticism. Then you go on with these useless posts, I mean, even in the Misc. section they are useless. Now maybe if you had established more of a 'reputation' (not Add to user's reputation thing), we wouldn't be so negative for you. You should stay, but start over. Maybe you can get pank to wipe all your posts. Then start over, with more experience.

You just got an essay from 3jorn, now that is worth staying.

I will basically say what 3jorn said, but not in an essay. Simply put, don't leave. This forum has been falling apart in my eyes ever since like last year or the year before. The 25th of this month, will mark my 3rd year here, and I can't help but remember those like Torn, Axiom, and the DPQ. The ones that were here since I was. It is a shame to see everyone leaving one by one, the vets. And it makes me wonder, when will I leave my chair at the theoretical TeamPS table. I don't want to, but the time will come, I've made myself a nice ass groove though, so I think I can stay a bit longer. *leans back*

Just my two cents and a dime.

I thought 56 posts in a thread everyone labeled as lame was pretty excessive.
You all deserve a time out...

I remember when I was doing 12 posts a day and the mods here had to tell me to settle down.

And I did. No one flames me anymore (that could be an overstatement)

Well I wasn’t really talking about anyone specifically. I just meant that there were an awful lot of posts for a thread marked as pointless and stupid.

No, no. I know. I'm just recounting my experience. Rather than leave, I just did my best to rebuild my reputation. I hope no one hates me anymore. :p
