This is not a concealment attempt by the Bush Administration. My wife was military and her records were accidentally destroyed by flood or fire or something years ago. Just look at the dates. Clinton was the one in office at the time the records were destroyed, not Bush or his father.

No Conspiracy Theory here folks, move along.

It added that in 1996 and 1997 the microfilm records of "numerous service members" from the first quarter of 1969 and the third quarter of 1972 were ruined

No Malibu, the administration at that time 'knew' that Bush Jr. was going to run against Kerry in 2004, and didn't want his military records to spring up. You see, it is a conspiracy. Clinton was in the office at that time, and he wanted Hillary to run in 2008, and knew that she couldn't if Kerry was going to be running for re-election. C'mon, open your eyes. Bill Clinton knew then that the only way Bush would win is if those records were destroyed, so he ordered it done.

I don't like bush, but I don't think it's a concealment attempt either. I just find it ironic that this happens after all the fuss about his records. I can picture bush sitting on his couch going "Ok this isn't going to look good."

regardless of it being a concealment attempt or not, i don't think it's going to help bush. People will think he had something to hide, whether Bush intended for the documents to be destroyed or not.
