suicide ...

At one point I was thinking this was an option, then I thought about what a cop out to dealing with a hard time. Youve been through such horrible things already ex. School... there really is no reason to just end it. Taking your own life is really a selfish act for the weak. You may be thinking its the only option, but just imagine what your family will have to go through, you child growing up without a father, a cute wife that will have to go to work more, which means your kid being dumped at some daycare. Your parents not able to brag to their friends about how great there son is and what hes doing with his life. All they would get to say is, well yea hes a ***** that left this world and has made life bad for the rest of us. Also think about what the afterlife is like if there is really one I tend to find my self thinking about. Or what if its all about recarnation and you come back as a tree, talk about ****ty life...

So to some up this rambling that I started because of my hate for this topic is

Dont be just a selfish piece of crap and take your own life without relizing how its going to effect your entire freaking family. Taking your life is just an easy way out grow some balls and be a man. Think about your daughter growing up without a father to chase off those dirty guys that hit on the daughter etc...

i was feeling really down about a lot of things going on in my life a week or so ago, not suicidal but really down, feeling useless and like i hadn't accomplished much, hadn't made an impact. ended up chatting with a guy i know, he's now in early college, and he told me about how he wouldn't be who he is if i hadn't been in his life. that made me rethink a whole lot of things.

each of us has someone we've affected, and someone we've yet to affect that we're meant to. think about the difference you've made and the difference you're going to make (in your daughter's life for one) and realize that you need to stick around. and just hang in there

These are the two quotes from this thread that in my eyes are the best of advice. We've all had problems in our lives and I think that yes we have all thought about suicide. Sorry to sound a little harsh, but when this happens, it is up to you to set yer jaw, bite the bullet, or whatever you have to do in order to face the problem like a man. It's up to you to smack yourself in the face and go, "What the fsck is wrong with you? You're damn talented, you're really lucky to be in the life you're in and to have a family that's pulling for you, and to be musically and artistically gifted, etc etc. Why take it away, because of a problem which can be resolved?"

you want proof that you're wanted in this world? Look at team photoshop. It's a forum full of people - all from different parts of the world - all of whom have never even met you - and we're all trying to help. That's a damn good feeling, man. A DAMN good feeling.

Do what you need to do, but don't back out and take the road of suicide... it's seriously not going to do you any good. It will escalate every problem you have, as well as the ones aruond you, rather than alleviate any of them. think about your family. for almost all my life i've lived without a serious father figure around the house, and it sucks, man. I had to teach myself how to not give a ****. At least I get to see him on the weekends. Your kid won't even be priveleged enough to have that if you do this.

if you need help, seek it. If you need a doctor, seek one. It's not the weak way. In fact, it probably takes more courage to do that than to kill yourself. I'm sure that any one of us (me included) would be more than happy to allow you to blow some steam. An emotional catharsis is ridiculously useful sometimes.
