You may not want to air this publically, but what is making you feel this way? Did something happen? General depression? All of the above? I am just wondering what brought these feelings on, we might be able to help more if we can help you overcome what is causing it.
I actually have no idea ... I just get this way sometimes ... especially lately. I just can't pinpoint exactly what is triggering me to feel like this. I just ... do. And it sucks really bad. :( But I'm feelin a little better. Worked on some music today. |

Do you think it could be related to a male form of post pardom depression? Are you feeling left out or less needed since the baby was born? Men can go through that. It is very common actually. Mara |

Nah, that's far from the case. My baby is always beggin for me (or at least it seems). Feels pretty good, but not enough to "cure" me of whatever I'm suffering from. She smiles more when shes around me than anyone. Plus shes really good for me ... almost like she's trying to be good for me. It's ... actually kinda strange in a good way.

I think some men can feel that way about the mothers though, my husband wanted more attention than I could give him and I felt really bad about it. The baby took up all of my energy and time for a while. Before the baby came along he was the center of attention. It sounds to me that your daughter is a source of joy for you and perhaps one reason to look for the light at the end of the tunnel. I am not sure there is a cure for it, I have my down days and my up days. I just always have to remember that I am a strong person and tomorrow is a new day. Many ppl suffer from depression, it is more common than I ever knew. It affects millions of ppl and can be caused by an imbalance of certain chemicals in the brain called neurotransmitters. If you have this problem from time to time and you just can't explain it, this might be the reason. I hope I am helping... Mara |

Not crawling yet. She can roll over, she just started laughing, and she smiles a lot. I can upload some new pictures of her sometime tomorrow.

Hey life is good. Just look around the world. It could always be worse ;) My wife is a Nurse. She can confirm that some people actually do need a med like prozac because of a chemical issue in the body. I would serioulsy see your Doc. And I can say is we all get down. Trust me... It gets better. Take care. |

everyone gets down, but that only means theres a lot more good to achieve.. i know everyone said all this before, but listen to the advice given.. there's absolutely no point in suicide man.. think about how it feels for everyone else if you did something as horribel and brutal like this.. always look on the bright side, or at least try.. i seriously hope you're feeling better.. if not let, let your teamps buddies know.. |

.02... Try to occupy yourself with activities. Set some goals and work towards them. Depression, damn! I hate it. Use to be very depressed when I was a teen. But the problem is thinking on things too much. When your busy, you don't think about stuff to much and eventually you'll ease back into a relaxed state. Perk-when you reach the goal that you was working on, this will build your confidence & overall mood to a happier stronger person. Try learning a new tutorial ever few days as a goal for example. This will help you in PS and in the head..... Forget sucide, plenty of time for that in the grave when your old. Your alive now, work it out and move on to better things.... Fess |
