Ok, I'm from Rochester NY, which is on the southern edge of Lake Ontario, and today we had a high temperature of 9° farenheit, which is -13° C The cold isn't even that bad, I mean, you don't have to be outside for that long, but the roads are the real problem. At least 3 people I know have totalled their cars because of the ice, especially on bridges. Apparently, it's not about to let up any time soon, either. How bad is it for anyone else? It's gotta be worse for everyone in Canada, and the rest of the northeast has gotta be getting slammed too. |

Sucks for y'all. Weather is getting crazy this winter. I think North Carolina is one of the few states where it can be 70 degrees on January 5 and then school is closed on the 9th because of snow. |

We had -18 celsius a few days ago - I don't know how many farenheit that is but it's very very cold coldest in years...my nostrils kept wanting to hug eachother umm - bucharest/romania - europe:D |

it was -6 with -19 windchill here today. and it was very windy.

Mihai, -18 C is about -0.4 F, so yeah, that's DAMN cold. Also, for you EuroFolk, I found this, so you can translate your weird metric temperatures.

-18 celcius.... Lucky bastard... Here in Monrtreaé it was like -27 celcius and it the wind was strong... with the wind factor it was -40 celcius... This is cold! |
