Hmmm. Universal Records refused The Hives new CD. I guess they know they can't sell ****ty records anymore. I just borrow cd's and copy them. There will be some serious changes to the record industry in the coming years.

One thing I did notice over the holdays.... I bought Jay-Z's black album for my wifey and it was only $13 CA, which is a bit lower than the usual $20 CA, but still they are EVIL....

Screw the RIAA. They're in a sinking ship. Learn to swim, suckers.

Good for them. It's been illegal to duplicate music files for quite a long time, and people simply brushed it off as one of those laws that are never really enforced. Now that they're doing what they SAID they would do, people whine and cry about it. I do not pirate any software, music, movies, etc. Nos. |

Perhaps I should elaborate on my "drown you bastards" post from a while ago.... I think the RIAA could do something progressive/productive instead of hustling common citizens and pretending they're more important than they are... ever met an ex-cop? puh-lease. Impersonating a police officer is a far more dangerous offense than selling a $5 copy of Jay-Z's new album. |
