i dont think that the "present" even can exhist. think about it we have the Future which cant happen until the Past has happend there cant be anytime before the future and after the past this is my reasoning of thinking... if you take time in itself and you have "Past, Present, and Future" if you look at like this... this is so freaking hard to explain but maybe this pic i made can help make you understand... if not then nevermind... http://www.geocities.com/afguy91506/time.jpg as in "Present" can be broken into past and future ... so "Present does not exhist.... put a space after the link if it doesnt work... |

The present can exist in the past as a point in time.

"Present" is the location on the timeline in which we exist. It continually moves forward. It's just a word to describe something that is neither in the past nor the future.

thats what i'm saying there cant be anytime between the past and present... it's impossable if you break "present" down into a time which time is a mesurement. lets say that present could be messured it wouldnt work you could cut the time from past to future into two parts....

It has to exist. What you are doing right now is not in the future and is not in the past, it is happening at the current moment. Sure, it's an infinitessimally small moment but it exists theoretically. |

it cant there is no way if we can break down that "moment" into past and and then still have future there present is only a human word to describe a action that they are doing at a time....

Sure it's a human word, but it has to exist. According to dictionary.com it is "A moment or period in time perceptible as intermediate between past and future; now." Without the present there would be no division between the future and the past. It cannot be measured but it most definately exists.

it exhists only in a human word but not in the world. that def. is explain it as a human word. there isnt a division between the two. time can be broken down and cant stop being broken down ever.

How can a concept exist? ;) Time and the explanation of it, is a man made convention.
