The windows machine runs on explorer. Not like internet explorer will interfere with anything once you remove all its file associations.

There are ways to remove IE, but it's a big pain in the ass. Better to just drop its file associations and delete the shortcuts.

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to register Opera in Canada... They are based in Norway so I'm sure they are used to international orders.

I only use Opera on my phone(P800).. For some reason, Opera performs a little lower than IE on my PC. Odd, but true.

I wish Opera made a browser for Palm - I wonder why they don't - I checked the forum on opera.com and there's a lot of people who would like that - me included. My phone works with Palm - I don't get Opera on it :(

I kinda don't get it, I like opera because of its awesome features and browsing capbilities. I like firebird because of its quickness and cleanness. But the primary Browser I use is still IE 6, it runs pretty fast and it supports more advanced CSS (I don't know much) like CSS scrollbars and advanced layers and stuff. Besides I'm kinda like a newbie when it comes to browsers I just downloaded them all. I have IE 6, Netscape 7.1, Mozilla 1.5 beta, firebird, opera 7. I just have all of them because most time I use all of them to test my web site accessibilities and stuff.

First Can someone explain to me why IE sux?

Second because I'm pretty newbish on those stuff anyone knows any good articles comparing those browsers and such?

Thanks

IE sucks cause they render stuff that they aren't suppose to. The HTML implementation on IE forgives tag errors and such.

And cause it displays stuff, other browsers can't, so they make it seems like its powerful. Opera has the best HTML engine imo. But its just slow on my PC
