And with my lack of a short term memory, it's hard for me to memorize these magical symbols I must do on my mousepad just to go back one page. As if clicking mouse4 took a lot of brain processing power.

for me opera loads much faster than IE - also starts up faster....if it were not for this crashing up business I'd say it's the best browser around.... I'll try to get the beta - maybe it will stop doing that....

moo - the hand commands I use most are forward and back...and those are simple I guess years of IE have taken their toll on my intelligence:D

Not everyone has "Mouse4". Everyone has right-click. And it is not hard to right click and move the mouse to the left.

opera is great, I'm having problem with it on my site, most thing I don't like a bout opera is too many menu items and big banner. mihai, I highly recommand you "Firebird" I got it off from Deker's site, it's lite, super quick, and loads very quick too, my comp only have 466 MHz cpu power but firebird is loading faster than Opera, IE, Netscape 7 (the worst and slowest)

Hope my comment is useful!

never tried Firebird before - I might give it a go... Netscape is dead anyway...no sense in dragging a corpse

Netscape is too fat to drag anyways. You'd hurt your back.

Yeah Firebird is quite excellent. I actually use it more than Opera when I'm at home. You can get mousegestures extensions for it and everything too. I'll have to start a Reasons I Like Firebird thing on my blog, like I have for opera. Or maybe just change to to "Reasons I like everything but IE".

Just an idea mihai (its a long shot too)....but do you have any spyware on your computer?? Cause sometimes the programs piggyback on your browsers connection and that can cause it to crash. Ive had it happen a few times. Aureate got onto my system at which point opera 6 started crashing like crazy. Then i removed Aureate.....and everything has been fine.

I don't think so Rodder - I just formatted my entire system partition - and I have the Norton firewall thing... it announces me everytime an unlisted application is trying to access the internet - or the other way around - if something external tries to come in...
I don't even have P2P software on my machine = all bought and accounted for:D.
