So ... is it any good? Personally, I think its funny that they came out with it. Seems like kind of a "rip-off" from Coke ... but ... what can ya say? |

Personally, I'm holding out for Wasabi-Flavored Soda Or at least some kind of carbonated coffee... On a similar note, I'm from Western NY, and we have this weird habit of calling soda, by the name 'pop'. Not soda-pop, just pop. Has anyone else heard this, and is this strictly a regional thing? Also goven our horriffic great lakes accent, it comes out sounding like 'pahp' in some atrociously nasal voice. Fortunately, I've found a way to turn it off. heh heh heh Surrender has also picked up the accent. Which is funny because it's overlayed on a german accent. Long live Rahchestehr... |

I think its a regional thing. People here (oklahoma) say soda or coke (even pepsi is called coke).

1. Yeah, pop is another word for soda and if you used it, most people would understand. 2. Never tried vanilla pepsi, though the commercial was pimpin. *erhem erhem* It was pretty funny though.. big fat white guy in a pepsi truck with hydraulics |

We always used to say 'pop' in washington (state). I thought Vanilla coke was nasty (except with rum.) So I am hesitant for Vanilla Pepsi to be good (unless with rum) Now Wasabi 'Pop' would be great! I was thinking the other day about getting some sake and making Wasabi Martinis..... wasnt sure what to put in it to replace the olives though (stick of rolled up seaweed?) |
