New Apple Stuff

OSX has been out for like 2 and a half years. How long do you think they should keep using an outdated OS? YOU BIG WHINER!! ;)

yea 99 cents a song is way expensive. but 10 bucks an album is actually cheaper than a store, so it all depends if you are singles man or an album man.

How do you guys think .99 cents a song is expensive? If you buy a 12 song CD and just buy each song individually, it's still only $12. Which is less than any CD I've seen in the store recently. And I don't remember the last CD that I actually liked all the songs. So if you just buy three good songs from a CD, that's only $3. Which is a hell of a lot better than paying $18 for a cd with 3 good songs and 10 crappy ones. But I guess $.99 is more than "free" from kazaa, so people will still bitch about it.

My brother won't let me use his iPod(old one). :(

deker whens the last time you burned a cd of singles, you can hold up to 20+ songs on a 80 min cd, so that means you must buy 20+ songs to fill up a cd, unless you like to waste cd space. so thats 20+ dollars for a cd.

Redeye, your logic makes no sense at all. Why would you want to pay $18 for a cd, when you only like 3 or 4 of the songs? Wouldn't you rather have a CD full of songs you actually enjoy and listen to? I have an MP3 CD player in my car, and I can fit over 200 songs on a CD, but that doesn't mean the CD costs over $200...

There are no plans to make Mac OS X available on any non-Apple platforms. We're simply making Darwin, the underlying operating system of Mac OS X, a better system by using x86 as a test bed to ensure architectural soundness and to reap the benefits from applying portable software coding practices.
