Try a french car. They're engines are damn solid. Mine's from 1990, and it's running really smooth. The thing with French cars is that they have no damn clue of what electronics are. :p Nothing works anymore. And the interior is made of crappy plastic, so everything rattles..especially with a lower and stiffer suspension. But it's got over 200 000 km on the engine, and I've had it for some time now...pretty happy with it. Oh, and no rust whatsoever. The chassi is zinked, so it's all good. |

i like the girls. :D we're makin a movie, not about cars, but parties we throw instead. it'll be my first film, and even though it will probably be crap, it should still be fun to do. not only parties though ... probably other stuff too. not sure what yet though. you know me though ... it'll have some random pointless things thrown in for viewing "pleasure." hehe. |

well guys ive go almost 120k on my z28 camaro and the only prob i came across are some radiator probs... water pump and heater core... really not a big deal cuz i fix that shiz myself. i dont know why you put down on american cars because all cars have the same life span if you take care of them properly.... ive known plenty of imports that have gone to **** once they hit 50k but hey thats just me... |

I had an '84 Buick LeSabre that had a couple of things wrong with it. It had like 150,000 miles on it. My Acura Integra has had no major problems since I've owned it. It's a '95. And has 124,000 miles. My verdict, American cars break down constantly, are ugly, and slow! |

I was being sarcastic... I was basing my entire knowledge of American cars on the one American car I have owned, which was an '84 Buick LeSabre. It was a joke... But I guess people take this whole car thing more seriously than I though.

Hey to each their own. I am only going off of my experences. My Grand Am sucked, my Ford Escort Sucked, both my Mustangs Sucked, My parents stopped buying American because of all the recalls and them being in the shop. My other friends Grand Am has broke down a ton of times, so he got a Lexus. I really want to support American car builders, but I have owned 5 cars, 4 American and 1 Import. And it is like night and day. I actualy don't know anyone that owns a Z28, so I could not say anything about those. But not many people buy them, I guess that is why they stopped making them? I wonder why they always sold so poorly??? |
