What's with people who need fast cars to think that they're so ****ing special? Get into an accident, a big SUV/Truck that can go well over the speed limit if necessary with not get as much damage done to it than a small compact car that might be able to go faster, but the faster the go, the more damage done in an accident.

Oh, and what is the highway you guys were driving on? Just curious.

Moral of the story: Don't speed and install external turrets to shoot other cars that try to go faster than you. :rolleyes:

A compact car accelerates and handles alot better and sharper due to being lightweight.

i didnt say anything about a huge car... i said a good car. and no its not japanese cars that i dont like, but these ricers take little civics which are sucky and try to turn them into something good. if you want a civic just get a s2000 in the first place. and a toyota, get a supra. get a real sports car, not a compact. only real sports car in that video was the mazda. almost every car company has an excellent stock sports car, but these ricers rarely buy it, that is my point. they go for the crap, and try to make it nice, but in the end they spend 10s of the thousands of dollars, and all they have is a nice looking car that cant compare.

I have this little yellow plastic card called a Metrocard. It is the key to my source of public transportation. *cough* Ya, go underage me! :rolleyes:

A $6,000 used Civic is a whole lot more affordable than a $50,000 sports car. I would imagine that is the reason people like them. And there is no way you are going to add on $40,000 in parts to one of those things. Plus it's fun to take a standard compact sized car and buy parts and make it faster and look better. That way it's actually unique and you know you put some work into it. Rather than just going out with a wad of cash and buying the exact same sports car that every other guy has.

Well said. I used to not understand that. I owned a Mustang GT before my RSX type S. I always wondered why "Ricers" did that stuff to their cars. After I got my Acura (Honda really) I got the modding bug. It is so cool to know, that my car is going to be a one of a kind. I will get a "Cool" looking car that is pretty quick.

It is really a lot of fun!!

I have enjoyed this car about 10X More than My Mustang. :D

im talking about the freaks, like the ones that do fast and the furious type stuff. sure a lot of people cant afford all that junk, but the ones who do, why not spend it on a good car, and fix up that car, if they want it unique

Well that goes for a lot of people.. Why the hell do people buy a Pontiac Azteck or a Camaro?

To each their own. again I used to not "Get it" but it is all about being happy with your car.

Why do people buy a cheap PC and upgrade it every 3 months instead of just getting a Macintosh in the first place? Beats the hell out of me...

I haven't modded my Acura at all. It had rims on it when I got it... But I'm not into cars very much.
