Its not legal to hire a 14 year old anyways. You need to be 16. As I said before to another guy on here. Lose the chip on your shoulder. No one will hire an a$$hole, no matter your skill level. Be respectful, and people will respect you. Im only 22 but I can deal with people 40 + years old and hold my own. Why? Because I talk to them in a profesional manner and recogonize where they are coming from. Now, I agree with you here for the most part. All you want is some simple beats. Plain and simple. Fruity Loops will do this. But I think everyone else is trying to help you in the fact that if you learn music, you will be that much better, although I think most people are pushing their opions here too far, but me thinks its because of your attitude. Understand what they are saying and say "No Thanks". This works a whole lot better. MichaelP, no one likes a smart a$$ or a rat. Everyone can see what he said. Leave it alone. |

Actually you can get hired at the age of 15. All you need is a work permit, which isn't hard to get. :D

In Iowa, you only have to be 14 to work. No work permit needed. I had a job when I was 14 at a local fast food joint.

i live in florida and hiring age is 15 minimum and thats like a bag boy at winn dixie...thats the only local job i know of that hires at that age...and you may think i act unprofessional but i really don't i just didn't feel i needed to return any respect since i wasn't paid any with an off the bat comment of go pay your piano teacher followed by a sanfrancisco snack comment. If people wish for me to respect them then i would atleast expect them to show me a little common curtousy for my question or atleast my situation. Being fourteen i don't have many options or money but atleast im responsible enough to go out and get a head start on my career. I apologize for the offensive comments i made i just get annoyed with people who don't take what i say seriously for whatever reason even if the subject does sound like a sanfrancisco treat or snack or what have you. If you think about it its actually a smart name for those who wouldn't criticize it. Fruity is catchy and sticks in your head while loops could mean a cereal many people eat or the repeating beats in which the program is intended to create. So once again if you have any good recommendations for music creation software and it must be music creation because i could only seem to be able to import work into acid so it must be a program that i can use to make my own music and loops like fruity loops. Preferably with a better name so i don't go through this when i have another question. Someone suggested turntables....who is it made by? Any help will be appreciated and from here on any nonsense comments will probably go unanswered since some how it reflects badly on me when i respond to them.

I think Sonic Foundary software is decent and not too expensive.... ProTools has a free version that is limited. You can edit to your hearts content with it - that is what the pro's and remixers do.

If you don't have a legal copy you don't have a manual. If you don't have a manual and you don't know jack about the program you are SOL. Find out how to use it the same way you found out how to get it. This thread should have been closed days ago. nuff said. thread closed for good now... |
