I guess someone doesnt' know sarcasm.. Obviously I know someone sent you from AWP to post here. Kinda spam ain't it? About your coupon explaination, there's nothing on that banner that says the program is 99 bucks. So Pank goes in and sees 69.99 and with that 30 bucks coupon... it should be 39.99 right? Oh well... |

Call it spam or whatever, again, I am self-made middleman I had my two cents of it, take whatever worth of my posts that you want. My business is XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX My business with Alex began when he needed an american to write the manual to the program. If I write it, then I have to learn about the program. I just learned to respect the man of who he is from the time I have talked with and and got to know him. From listening to both parties over this coupon thing sounds quite honest and a mistake if you will. I said before, he did ask if he should charge higher for the program. The price went from $69.95 to $99, BEFORE RELEASE OF AWP 4.0. Pre-release was announced, which had install bugs in admin.cgi. I addressed it. The pre-release copy was available for testing to all who had AWP and a link was provided to new customers. Remember, I had to write the manual to the program, therefore, I had to scan the entire webpage for what Im suppose to write in this manual. During this time, which was two days of price change, bug fix, coupons and finale release, it seems to me Pank was right in the middle of the transistion. Learning that the program is now $69, he grips when he dont see $39, therefore did not listen to what Alex had to say about the fixes, or the weight's. Weights do not exist in the new version no longer because of the features AWP now has for impressions, days and clicks. Now that I know what AWP is, this is where I become support@guruperl.com in that, I have the emails sent to me from Pang of which I responded to. From this email, I asked Alex what about these weights because I did not see this in my program either, therefore it was removed from the webpage. I did ask if he was going to add it back to the program. The answer is yes, in the next versions. As far as being a customer of AWP, my clients love the system. My shopper web page is brand new and have alot more work to do in. Once done, I can fully utilize what the program can do and understand it. Mine is located on my shopper server and just today I stated moving banners to other websites on other servers I maintian websites on and placed the code from the AWP to those pages, and it works great. Before this program, I was sold on CS and was torn when I then saw this program. Im not promoting, I giving you my opinion that there is no other program better than AWP right now. If there is, show me. I wanna see it. So take whatever I just said for what its worth. Pang, if you want me to walk you through the program, I dont have a problem with doing it. If you want the program to act the way you want it to, just ask man! |

If Pank wants to open this back up later and address the comments, that's fine. But until then this discussion isn't going anywhere, and you should really be talking to Pank directly, not addressing it in our forum. If it really was a simple mistake or oversight, I'm sure Pank will take down the scam notices if he sees fit.

Yes I will open this thread back up because all TRICK is doing is sounding like Alex. IF YOU READ my original post you would see that: a. It WAS advertised for 69.99 PLUS $30.00 off. So he scammed on the price. No way to deny that. b. He had on his page (see my "saved page" and now gone from HIS altered page) banner weights. Very important to me. I wonder what else you pay for that you do not get. You see the problem is when you are an unsatisfied customer (for totaly legit reasons) and you ask for a FULL refund and do not get it then I tend to believe you do things intentionally wrong. If he would have said "hey I'm sorry for the mixup, here is your full refund" you know what. I probably would have wrote it off as a mistake on his end and been done with it. But you see that is NOT what happened. He denied everything. So bottom line is HE IS A SCAMMER until proven otherwise. He refused to refund me on 3 separate occasions. Twice from me and once from his credit card processor. So guess what. Now thousands, and soon millions of people will see what he has done. BAD business. All over 69.99. Seems like a waste to me but hey. If I can save somebody else from being scammed then it's all worth it to me. Oh, and I'm glad you admitted that he falsely advertised "important features" that were not existent as well as his coupon scam. So with that said this thread will stay open and the post on the front page of the site will always be there Yep, feels pretty good to me... Oh, and one more LIE. You have NEVER tried to contact me. You want to contact me the email address is all over the place. Want to chat one on one. dont_F_with_me@teamphotoshop.com or just plain bob@teamphotoshop.com either will work... So tell Alex thanks for sending you over and proving my story is a 100% true one. Maybe next time he decides to screw somebody they won't have a website that gets about 2.5 million page views a month ;) Oh wait. My guess would be that business is down. Just a hunch... And just to be a total A-hole I "will" contest the charges and not have to pay. Not because I want the money but because I know he'll get slapped with around a $35.00 chargeback fee So let's see. No money from me, plus a chargeback. From my math that sounds like a loss. Not to mention all the business he has lost over the last week and will continue to lose. Later... |

Hehe, just saw this: You see American law states that to slander somebody or to LIABLE them the story has to be untrue and then prove damages. Well my story is 100% true so looks like Alex loses again. And "let's work it out" you say. I tired my ass off to work it out the easy way but nobody wanted to help me work it out by giving me my refund in full. You all had your chance to "work it out". |

Yeah, very helpful in telling me the guts of the program. Not... bt>> Please see description, about how use AWP, here. It's our customers bt> some bt>> describe: bt>> http://www.clicks4trade.com/buybanners.htm bt>> http://thorpeworld.com/display-ads.html bt>> http://www.copseek.com/bannerad.htm bt>> http://www.thepartylist.com/adpage.htm |

sigh ....... I think he probably see this as, he tried to explain the best way he could to you about the coupon deal and the banner weights. Because I knew the unknown behind scenes of why weights are not on the web page, this is because of me. I saw the email and I questioned why the weights are not in the program, and then I asked if he will put it back in. Personally, I dont see the need for weights because of the other stuff. I mean, if a client buys 30 days or 1000 impressions, then thats what he buys and it should be shown. The way the program works, banners are renamed to a number when uploaded by you or the client. mySQL looks at these numbers and gives each banner to a specific called zone. When banners are shown they rotate in number, always being showed equally. Now and then a banner may show twice in a row. The program numbers the times it has been shown, now gives you remaining counts, when expires, it emails the client and tells them how to log in to update their deposit. So why do you need weights with this? Even though he now plans to add it back to the next release ... I still dont see any need for it. Perhaps the next version will now have weights, impressions, days and clicks. I bought AWP when 3.5 was out and frankly, I was not impressed. I had a thing with how it was laid out as far as being client friendly. He mentioned when I bought it the next release would come out and I told him Id help him make the program a little more client and admin friendly. Which from there, I modified all the template files. From there I wrote the manual. Pre-relase with bugs came out, which I think you got. I suggested a few more things and he put in alot of very useful features plus fixed the one thats out. I do know he works constantly on the program, in turn gives all old customers each updated release. I will talk with him about your money. However, what I do see is someone pissed just over the coupon and the weights and I have explained it just the best way I can from what understanding I see that makes the most since - of which you fail to understand. You basically got your program at the time it was $99. He went from $69 to $99, then asked me, then dropped it back down to $69 and I think you were right in the $99. This is why your not getting your money back. And yes I did email you. The same email with replys between you and Alex about "Is there any way I can help". I was trying to send you the finale release and get the bug fixes taking care of. Like, your only 1 in 50 I have to do this with, your the only one complaining. Your also the only one with a coupon that I have been in contact with. Whatever happens, happens. |

Actually there are "many" features which I think are BS. Just to name one more, you can't even create campaigns from the admin area. You have to set up some fake account, add fake money, sign into the fake account and the advertisor creates the campaign. Sorry out of ALL the banner sofware I looked at yours was the only one that the admin could not even creat a campaign. Which from your ad page it sounds like you could do. And don't question what feature I need. That is not your job. It is my job as a consumer to figure out what features I need and then buy accordingly. Then when I find out that the program works "nothing" like advertised, costs more than advertised and ask for a full refund I expect one. I don't expect Alex to argue with me. So when stuff like this happens it's my duty to spread the word. A lot of webmasters visit here and "many" of them buy scripts. It's my job to warn them when I find a scam running. I found you on hotscripts with a very high rating (granted only 2 people voted) but most people see those high ratings and check out the program. So you can continue to tell me why I don't need certain features that were advertised when I bought it, and tell me why your product was on sale but not really on sale. Or, you can really rethink your business model and move upward. I can't make that choice for you. And to be honest the longer you sit here and argue with me the more guilty, and less trustworthy you look. Basically every post you have made agrees with me. Features are missing that were adverstised and you scammed me on the price. So if that happened to me it happened to others and I WILL stop it from happening to other webmasters. That "is" the bottom line... Oh and I still say I have never gotten ONE single email from YOU. They were all from Alex. Once again I'd be happy to post them but that would dig the grave even a bit deeper. And I don't think that is necessary. |
