No I'm not really worried about the money. Like I said it's only 70 bucks. But I know lot's of people look for good scripts and I just thought I'd do everyone a service and tell my experience with them. |

Ahahah, that so-called World Map Navigator said I live in the midwest. Maybe if you set like 2 or 3 weeks aside you probably can write a PHP script that's just as powerful as it... that would be my method... *has the time, but no money.* I'd love to spread the word... but I seem to be the only one of my peers in real life that is actually interested in design... hope you get to beat the crap out of the guy. ;) |

Hi! I use AWP 4.0 at XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX as an addition to my newspaper I publish in town and think its a great script, far above better than CS and defiantly better than any other banner rotating script I have found. Like you, I look for scripts and do not make a decision until I know its a good script. When first installed, there were some small bug issues that me and Alex worked together on. Then Came 4.0 from 3.5. Banner wieghts will be added into next release, but this weight you are having a problem with shouldnt even be prominent as the program lets you set views, clicks and/or days to what the client wants to purchase! Why do you even need banner weight with these features. Well, I think your wrong for advertising this like you have. I have personally began to know Alex as a quick responder and a great programmer who takes alot of pride in his customers, and as a small programmer trying to make a living, you sure know how to kill a persons living and I think your taking this a bit way to far. My two cents. Two thumbs up to AWP |

What do you think ... And by the way ... Trick is short by my name of Patrick, of which TRICK has been my nickname on and offline for the past number of years. It does not denote any meaning, its just a freaking nick name. Notice that I said that I have came to know Alex ... duh ... He sent me the address to witness the BS said, for his behalf Im just telling you my opinions since I am a customer of AWP. I think the guy is a great guy, he may sound a little short in what he says, this because he speaks russian, not very good english. I thought he was an asshole when I first met him and had problems installing that took days to fix. I mean come on. Im in the damn advertising business, newspaper publications and web design ... I dont have any time for crap. Its important to me to know the program I am using. When I first purchased the program. I noticed many mispellings, buggy program and installation not up to par as far as telling you what to do with stuff very well. Bad english, etc, ect. Ok I spent 70 bucks on a program that should be a bit better as how it is laid out. So what do I do? I work with the man since he is someone who is working from home trying to provide for his family, just like you and I and help him out. I wrote the manual to AWP 4.0 Pank, when you first got AWP, you got a pre-release that had a bunch of installation bugs. This release came right at the new year after 3.5. 3.5 Installed and ran fine. I also spelled checked and checked for any bugs that ran in the program. I noticed that GeoDat did not work, installation was to buggy to run, and mySQL wrote wrong. In two days the finale release was made after all this was found. I spent hours of my own time to give to someone else who is making a living who made a very good rotating banner program, for free ... and then I here "Scam" See, now this bothers me. **Edit** To explain your weights feature listed on the webpage, as explained by the disgruntled ... I brought it to attention. Weights no longer exists in AWP because this was a feature in a prior version where unique days, impressions or clicks has now replaced this. Weights would be ridiculous with this feature installed. Unfortunatly, this was not taken from the webpage and was still listed. Now it is not. Geodat, not nessasary, but then again, you look at stats to, which we all know is better accurate by looking at your stat page from your server. Not so accurate with Geodat, sometimes and sometimes accurate, but nice to see about where your clients ads are being seen. If you look into your mySQL, you will see full stats of browser, refs, and so on. So this is why I came on this webpage as I thought it was total BS to destroy some hard work you obviously did not investigate hard enough before announcing scam. Now that I have become middle man ... lets think and talk this over before you destroy someone elses only bread and butter. 1 month ago, customer. Today ... support@guruperl.com Where am I? South Georgia. Where is Alex? Russia Why am I even doing this? I have no earthly idea. For the record, I do not know about this $30 off coupon ... if there is anything I can do so this nonsense will stop, let me know. I have already tried to respond with you, but you refused to answer my email. So far, its slander on your part for the record. Lets work it out, ok? From here, as non owner or programmer, nor signed partner of AWP, I am taking the heat. |

Asked about coupon: patrick (02:02 AM) : Hi, gald you on .. What about this coupon? patrick (02:02 AM) : $30 ... did you have that coupon? Or did he make it? Alex Danoff (02:03 AM) : i set price 99.95 - and set coupon of 30 off Alex Danoff (02:03 AM) : but then i remove it, and set again old price 69.95 In other words, what happen was, you purchased this program when it was $99 and you already had AWP. He asked me what price he should set this around a week ago I think and I told him that $100 would be a little to steep and he should keep it at $69. I do remember seeing $99 on the webpage. So .......... |
