Another Mac Vs Pc war!

It as been a long time of peace since the last war...

Mac cost more than PC for the same raw power... and the cool games always come later than ther PC version!

And why is the standard mouse still only one button!!!! Sure it look cool but...

Superdrive :D

I created a DVD showreel in iDVD2 in around 15minutes. Looks very professional and works in any DVD player

Jester, you actually truthfully used OSX and gave it a chance?

I would rather pay more for a Mac and have less raw power than get a PC. Again, raw power isn't what everyone is looking for. If I only wanted raw power in a car, I would buy an old muscle car from the 70's or something. But in reality, I would be much happier with a Lexus or even a little Acura like the one I have. 'Cause it gets better gas mileage, handles better, lasts forever, etc.

I play games on consoles, not PC's, so I don't care about waiting to play a game on the Mac.

Who cares how many buttons the mouse has? I mean honestly. That's just a ridiculous argument. If you want more buttons, go buy a mouse with more buttons.

I can't say anything good about mac's because I have never tried one ;)
But I could say that Linux (and probably most UNIX systems) are way better than wintendo! I have both winxp and mandrake 8.2 on this computer, and if I could get all my programs and games for linux, I would have removed windows.
On the other hand I think win2000pro was pretty okay. I don't think I ever had a crash that was caused by windows or its files, components etc. but with xp I have had several files, the computer is often slow, and kazaa has suddenly started running with 99% processor usage!!

Too bad hardware developers like logitech can't make their software for linux too, because I just bought a mouse and keyboard from logitech (wireless/optical/black/spilt-keys) and the damn mouse didnt work in linux! I could move it but not click on anything
Hmmf @ stupid ms slaves

i dont really get the topic of this thread, if you are trying to make the PC users jealous by showing you can run windows xp on a mac, it wont really work because they are using xp already... i dont even see the point of it, if mac os is so great why bother running windows on it.. kinda just saying you want another os because mac os isnt good enough.

No i explained earlier...i have XP so i can check the web conpatablitly on PCs and CDs.

'Jealous' refers to the fact that you windows users can only run one OS.. XP is no substitute for OSX...it's just there for mainy checking what web sites look like.

Yes, but I think he said RUN more than one OS. But that's no problem either actually. You can always use an emulator. For example if you use linux, you can at the same time run windows programs etc. with an emulator.

I like my two-button mouse, it lets me right click for more options.

I like my Windows 2000 because it hasn't crashed on me once, because I know how to take care of my PC.

I like my less than $1,000 PC that can run all the latest software.

I like my big bulky CRT monitor where as in most LCD monitors the colors are changed around.

I like the fact that people think it's really something envious to be able to run two OSes at the same time.

I like the fact that I don't care about anyone else's opinion but mine and think that this thread should be closed.

But now that's not going to happen, is it?

I also like the fact that I can type like this.
