If they are that hard to learn i can't even imagine how hard it would be to make of of those programs

..about piracy,

I know I wouldn´t of bought Photoshop unless I allready knew how to use it. I mean, the majority of topDesigners and such have learned with an early version of the program in question, and they didn´t buy it first.. But when you learn it, master it, and get money for mastering it, THEN you can buy it. If progs like photoshop wouldn´t be so easy to copy, ppl would go for the progs that were... So, in a twisted sense, piracy supports the Softwarecompanys as well as hurts them.... Don´t know, maybe this is just my way of justifying my actions...

any way you try to justify it, its still stealing. you want to learn software, pick up an educational version, or look for an entry level 3d package (inspire 3d, hash animation master, 3d toolkit from dvgarage.com). there's SO many options that really aren't that expensive. save a bit and something like that is well within most people's price range if its something they really want to learn.

i dont see why anyone here cares where someone gets their software.

if a program can be pirated then it is the company's fault. do you actually lose money by people using stolen software? if they want to risk it then i would say that is their decision. As far as protecting the company, let them protect themselves. They dont recognize you for helping them, so why do it at all. you dont go out to all the people who shoplift at a gas station and preach to them about how they are costing the gas station alot of money do you? and yet the gas stations don't do much about it (even though they know things like that happen all the time)

Well, how they loose money is when you don't buy the software.
You don't buy, they don't get paid. Its simple.

It isn't their problem that people are using pirated software.
Its the people's problem, for not being educated enough :p

Macromedia and Adobe has actually changed their trial softwares so that it cant be cracked. How do I know? My classmates does it.

Although both of them have taken measures, people are still distributing the ISO and full versions.

in a way we do... if more people use pirated software the software gets more expensive so we have to pay more!
