i frames only work in IE though. not a good idea unless you dont care about the other guys. just use a frame with no border and no scrollbar, you can get the same effect.

as far as the new design-

i dont think its a good idea to use the same graphic as a header AND a footer. maybe just put it at the top and something else at the bottom.

and the starbursts behind the text doesnt really fit in with the overall feel of the page. for your first few designs just try to keep it simple and clean, and nail the basics. no need for flashy graphics that look out of place just to show off the new filter you learned ;)

Not True. Not sure about the other browers but i HAVE seen it work in 4.75 before. Seems theres some funky stuff you have to do. I never found a reason to use Iframes so i don't know much about them.

tapgirl:when i get home i'll mutilate that image for you

what do you mean you're going to mutilate my image? I'm confused..

and

Bonamo:

It was only intended for the graphic to be at the top, but I guess on your browser it appears differently...I will have to look into that.

no need for flashy graphics that look out of place just to show off the new filter you learned

Also, I did not JUST learn that filter...
