OK, this is due May 1, so I need to make sure that everything works OK, make sure that it works in diff. browsers and stuff, so here we go:

http://www.angelfire.com/on/newmuzic

I'm not concerned with the low bandwith section, because that's just basically my old site, but the high bandwith section is my new one.

Just please tell me if everything works and any hints to make before tomorrow.

Thanks in advance, and please reply, even if it's something small and seemingly insignificant.

And yes, I know there isn't really anything in the gallery sections. I ran out of time to upload stuff. I just had to add a couple of things so that the teacher got the basic idea of how it worked.

And yeah, I know the home button doesn't do anything or doesn't have any functionality.

But it was there because I had a diff idea of how I was gonna' do the site before.

OK....enough, I'm gonna' be late for work.

But does everything work?.........that's what I was asking. Doesn't really matter to me if it is too pretty or not. The class is a BASIC web design class (Frontpage only, no knowledge of HTML required). Although I didn't make a lick of it with Frontpage.

now it's my turn;)
well first of all i personally don't like pop-up images..
what's the need in it? it only bothers my clean surfing..
Another thing..optimizing..i see your images (with words)
too optimized, you can see it by little blur oreol around words (types), i am pretty sure it can be optimized without those blurrs...
and about the net...well it looks too simple
5 min. work..i don't think it fits somehow here
it more seems that you made it "just as addition"
and not as part of the whole idea..
i suggest you to work on it little bit or change it's fading and look..may be make smaller and cut as slope may be...
sorry for writing so much;)

aah and one more
i forgot about css on main page..simple text doesn't look so good without css nowadays..

and about the net

What do you mean?
Are you talking about the fade in the upper-left corner?
well it looks too simple
If that's what you are talking about being to simple, read the upper right of the main interface-dealy. "SimplicyOfDesign" That's the whole idea. KISS Keep It Simple Stupid

And yeah, I made those images as small as possible, not keeping text in mind (will see about it)

and about the css on the main page??? css?

Keep it comin' guys, but remember, I'm more concerned about the funtionality of it all. The design wasn't a LARGE part of the site for the point being.

ok ok let it be simple;)

CSS is cascading style sheets...it came with html4
You are using it when made the scrolling
btw the colored scrolling works only with IE5+
anyway dhtml is css+javascript
and css it's something to define all styles/fonts/layer positioning etc...
you can visit stars.com for more info
hope that helps
p.s. anyway i was changing little bit the net despite it's simle as u said...

I ment pop-up while entering to your site..
not angelfire/geocities alike popups

That pop-up IS an Angelfire pop-up. Yeah it's an ad, but Angelfire puts it there, I don't have any control over it.
