Thanks for the comments guys... I've already completely started over... It'll be similar but more polished looking and not so amateur looking hopefully. My first design is always terrible, and during that first design I always come up with the real idea, so it was good to post this one anyway, if just to show me it was time to try on the second design.

Your first design was far from terrible... My first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh so far have been crap, so you're doing at least 700% better than me. |

Well...what i was going to say...has already kinda been said, and since your starting over i'll wait out that version to comment. Though i did (do) like the idea behind it.....as mattboy pointed out...the relationship between the tut's and the app's.

Your screenshot of it is 800x600 and that includes that empty space over there on the left side. Are you planning on expanding the width of the content area to compensate for that space later on or are you leaving it like it is? Either way is fine, but if I were going to your site I'd want the extra spaced used up with content. And since your tutorial site is about OSX software, do you really have to worry about any of your visitors being on 800x600? I just thought Macs would run at a higher res by default.

One thing I noticed...umm - tutorials.com is already taken hihi It would have made a great domain though... I like it but I think that for a mac-oriented thing it needs more aqua stuff .... But I'm guessing that's going to come in the next mockup...I'll comment on the next version |

I actually have iLifeTutorials.com and MacTutorials.com. Just didn't want to put them in the thread title 'cause I don't want people going to it until it's done. I was pretty shocked those two were available though.
