I am saving the money as we speak... My GF is trying to talk me out of buying the new G5 2 GHz machine, but if she gives me the ultimatum I think I will take the G5, lol. Sounds pretty sad, but that new G5 dual 2 GHz machine gives me major wood. I just sold my Mac on eBay to help gather some of the funds before the older ones lose even more value. So I have almost enough to get this bad boy. Plus this PC is getting on my nerves real fast...But I will do what I have to do, to get that G5.

Benchmarks are pointless anyway. Real world app results are the only thing you need to worry about, and they will have results on those when the G5 is out later this year. Who cares if it isn't as fast as the fastest PC, it's still the fastest Mac ever and a hell of a lot faster than my current computer. Plus Dell and Intel and everyone skews benchmarks so their product looks the best it can, it's not like apple is the first company to ever do it.

I never said it was the fastest... I don't put any faith in anyone's benchmarks... When they come out in august, we will see how fast they are. I will buy one someday regardless.

IMO, I could give a rat’s ass how much faster a dell crap station is compared to the new G5. I was stoked when I first seen the preview pictures. Hell 1999.00 for the base G5 is worth that and then some. It has extraordinary features that Mac always seems to bring to the surface. What scares me is Microsoft will steal yet again another Mac concept and turn it into a big ole' pile of cow dung. I forgot the mention that it's dead sexy and no |_33t gamers, hackers big black pc box with flaming neon’s could even amount to the G5. Did you know neon in your box will increase your GHz by ten fold? Neither did I....tsk tsk. On the last note, these characters spicing/dressing up their boxes with all the mods reminds me of little girls spicing/dressing up their dolls or doll houses...LMFAO...
