Logo selection. Opinions?

the 1st and 2nd one catch my eye. the 2nd one looks better.

Buckman, if you haven't got anything constuctive to add, DONT POST.

YOu don't like something... fine... tell why... let us know what does and doesn't work for you... but don't come on this board and trash regular members.
You haven't shown us any of your skills, and until you do. You haven't got anything to stand on while telling someone else thier work sucks.

You have made 2 post until this point... and if the other one is like this one... you'll find it hard to post much more on this forum.

There are tons of VERY good designers on this board... sit back... you might learn something.

I encourage all of you to put Buckman72 on your ignore list. It's clear that he will be an unwanted element on this forum. Don't help him. Don't respond to him. He's another one of *those*...

still voting for number 2 dude. I like them all, but 2 is more elegant, as someone already noted.

also noted is the fact that you *DIDN'T* use an oval on any of them. Kudos on that! Maybe someone was playing with his monkey while you were learning how to design logos.

I still stick with #2, but now to explain why.
I think 1,3,4 and 5 all look a bit simple, like something you would buy off ebay.1 and 6 in my opinion look alot better, and I gave the edge to #2 because it looks like it took more time to design.

They´re all very good logos, and you would know that if you knew anything about designing logos. Simple logos are the best, due (to most reasonably smart persons) to the fact that they´ll have to stick on ppl´s brains as fast as possible. The two factors, one being the time used to design it, and the other being the amount of simplicity arent comparable in any way. There´s a whole lot of philosophical issues that a designer has to bare in mind when making a brand and a look for a company.
You sound like a total b00b who thinks that a logo is more cool if it´s got filters and bevels all over it. Well that´s not the way it works.

You know a coca-cola logo when you see one, right? And you even recognize the font that´s being used in microsofts logo, right? They´re very simple. And they look absolutely great.

The things that make a good logo aren´t the same that make a nice wallpaper or a killer website. Please, show respect.
