Shape layer & layer set fun! |

"Could not create the document because the scratch disks are full" I don't know what's the problem, maybe i was playing UT before looking at the boards But i'm pretty sure that file is HUGE |

Well, here's a way to test Torn's theory. Though I have no idea if any mac user will download this and/or report what actually happens when they try to move this layer set. NOT just a single layer within the layer set. You can download a PSD of only the shape layers that were in my picture here. That is a 3MB zip file containing the PSD. Uncompressed the .PSD is 8MB in size. Only the shape layers and the background layer are in that image. Nothing else to try and slow down your machine. Mac users wanting to test the theory of how capable their machines are at handling probably several thousand vector shapes (and at least a few hundred layers) without their machine sitting still every now and then while it thinks are free to test it out. Or if anybody wants to see what potentially thousands of shape layers looks like in a singular layer set, download this zip file and find out. You can also use this bit of graphic stuff however ya want! |
