Trying grunge out

I've been feeling kind of down because of the holidays and decided to try out some grunge type art.

This is my second one, hows it look? Does it capture the grunge essence? Or does it look like a bunch of crap smudged onto a screen..

very good! it should be a cd cover the car one. If you know who White zombie or Rob zombie are you will understand. :-)

Working on another one, not very happy about it right now, but it will get better later. Was listening to a lot of CCR when I started making it, but then the playlist went to marley and led zepp and I lost focus heh.

its weird, when i read tutorails on grunge effects it says dont worry about doing something wrong because there is no wrong. but whenever i try to do grunge it looks wrong. :(
