Yeah, you just don't get it.... Never mind....
You should try being more open-minded

I am open-minded, but there is just no arguing this point. You are simply trying to justify stealing something. And there is no justifying it. If you're going to steal it, fine, that's your business, but don't try to justify it to try and make yourself feel good about it. I really don't see how you can even imagine that this is an ok thing to do. Would you walk into CompUSA and steal a boxed copy of Photoshop off of the shelf? Do they still owe it to you? Or is it suddenly something you wouldn't do because you might actually get caught and thrown in jail?

There are certain levels of wrong, and I don't think pirating Photoshop is that bad if you have no other way of getting it. It's almost the same as using Photoshop over your friends house alot.

Yeah, except it isn't. It's an obvious breach of the licensing agreement you agree to when you install and use the program. You know very well that it's wrong, you're just trying to make yourself feel ok about it. And you only have the balls to do it because you don't think you'll get caught since it's just electronic data and not something you have to steal from a store where you can actually get caught.

Like I said earlier, I bought mine.

supahsekzy and Brasuhks87 didn't buy theirs.

I just think it is as much stealing as downloading music. They make more than enough money.

Whatever man. You're still ignoring my point. But you're obviously not "open-minded" about this topic, so I won't waste anymore of my time on it.

Sounds good, everyone has their own opinion on things.

Well, or they can save their 300 dollars, since that is all of their christmas and birthday money for one year, and download it.

Or, they can put those 300 dollars towards buying it.

Saving for photoshop is just the same as saving for a bike or a video game or a car. It's still something you want.

What ticks me off is that there are millions of pimply-faced kids like Atomicfog that download Photoshop and use it on crappy gaming-clan pages, or bevelled signature images, and they never get any farther than that. It's like buying a Ferrari so you can go mudding for a month, dent the side panels and break the windows with a bat, and then leave it on the side of the road for the next hapless boob to pick it up and fool themselves into thinking they are a graphics genius.

Leave professional software to those who are serious about their work and are, or are seeking to become, a professional.

The same goes with flash too. The next time you see a train-wreck of a flash site, remember that there are still people who legally buy the software, and are working their way up the hierarchy of web-design, shining a hopeful light for the future of the internet.

Screw you, Atomicfog.. screw you.

Nos.

How the **** is this guy not banned yet?

1. NO warez, serial #'s, illegal stuff in any way! Violators WILL be banned. Plain and simple...

I think promoting the use of illegal software is grounds.
